T\u00e4ss\u00e4 kandidaatintutkielmassa tarkastellaan asiakkuudenhallintaa, asiakkuudenhallintaj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4, sek\u00e4 sen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6nottoprosessia ja soveltamista vakuutusyhti\u00f6n n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Tutkielma on toteutettu kirjallisuuskatsauksena. Tutkielmassa k\u00e4yd\u00e4\u00e4n l\u00e4pi kirjallisuudessa esitettyj\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4ritelmi\u00e4 ja k\u00e4sitteit\u00e4, sek\u00e4 havainnoidaan ja muodostetaan johtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksi\u00e4 vakuutusyhti\u00f6n erityispiirteist\u00e4 k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6nottoprosessiin, verrattuna yleiseen asiakkuudenhallintaj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4n k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6nottoon. It supports many areas of the business, enables a competitive advantage to be achieved over other companies and helps to reduce costs. A customer relationship management system (CRM) is an information system that centralises the benefits of customer relationship management in one place, where different departments can access information to address their specific needs. This thesis examines customer relationship management, customer relationship management system, and its implementation process from the perspective of an insurance company. The thesis is a literature review. It reviews the definitions and terms presented in the literature, and observes and concludes on the specific characteristics of the implementation process of an insurance company, compared to the implementation of a general customer relationship management system. This topic is worth researching, as the customer relation management system is an important tool for the continuity and functionality of insurance companies' business operations. Its successful implementation can have a significant impact on companies' competitiveness and customer satisfaction. It is also worth exploring as there is relatively little scientific research on the subject.
