Haastattelen nelj\u00e4\u00e4 oppikirjailijaa kysym\u00e4ll\u00e4 heid\u00e4n m\u00e4\u00e4ritelm\u00e4\u00e4ns\u00e4 kulttuurintuntemuksesta, mahdollisista taustatekij\u00f6ist\u00e4, jotka vaikuttavat heid\u00e4n ty\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n oppimateriaalin luomisessa sek\u00e4 heid\u00e4n mielipidett\u00e4\u00e4n kulttuurintuntemuksen tilasta t\u00e4ll\u00e4 hetkell\u00e4. Tutkimuskysymykset olivat seuraavat:\n1. Miten oppikirjailija k\u00e4sitt\u00e4\u00e4 kulttuurintuntemuksen?\n2. Mitk\u00e4 taustatekij\u00e4t vaikuttavat kulttuurintuntemuksen huomiointiin oppikirjailijoiden \nty\u00f6ss\u00e4?\n3. Millainen kulttuurintuntemuksen tilanne on oppikirjailijoiden mielest\u00e4 t\u00e4m\u00e4n hetken ruotsin kielen oppiaineessa?\nTutkielmassani esittelen tutkimuskohteen keskeisimm\u00e4t k\u00e4sitteet, joita ovat kulttuuri, identiteetti, kulttuurintuntemus kieltenopetuksessa, kulttuurintuntemus opetussuunnitelmassa ja oppikirjailijoiden k\u00e4sitykset. Keskeisimpien k\u00e4sitteiden j\u00e4lkeen esittelen aiempaa tutkimusta kulttuurintuntemuksesta eri n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmista. Lopuksi esittelen osan haastatteluista ker\u00e4\u00e4mist\u00e4ni vastauksista ja \njohtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6kset analyysista. Tutkielmani on luonteeltaan kvalitatiivinen, jossa k\u00e4yt\u00e4n tutkimusmenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysia. Tutkielman aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin nelj\u00e4ll\u00e4 strukturoidulla haastattelulla. Haastatteluihin osallistuneet henkil\u00f6t ty\u00f6skenteliv\u00e4t ruotsin kielen oppikirjailijoina. Kaikki haastattelut j\u00e4rjestettiin et\u00e4yhteydell\u00e4 Zoom-videopalvelun kautta. Haastattelut toteutettiin suomen kielell\u00e4 ja ne kestiv\u00e4t noin 30 minuuttia.\nTutkielman tulokset osoittavat, ett\u00e4 oppikirjailijoiden k\u00e4sitykset kulttuurintuntemuksesta liittyv\u00e4t \nyleissivistykseen, maantuntemukseen ja viestint\u00e4\u00e4n. Tutkimuksessa k\u00e4vi ilmi, ett\u00e4 osa oppikirjailijoista painotti yksil\u00f6llisten kokemusten, tunteiden ja arvojen vaikutusta ty\u00f6h\u00f6n, mutta my\u00f6s kustantajan ja ty\u00f6ryhm\u00e4n asema nostettiin vahvasti esille. Nykyinen kulttuurintuntemuksen tilanne on osittain positiivinen, mutta koulutuspoliittiset p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6kset vaikuttavat negatiivisesti kulttuurintuntemuksen huomiointiin ruotsin kielen oppiaineessa.
