Tavoitteena oli lis\u00e4ksi selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, mill\u00e4 keinoilla kouluhyvinvointia ja koulussa viihtymist\u00e4 voisi oppilaiden mukaan parantaa. \nTutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena, jonka aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin teemahaastatteluilla. Aineisto koostui kahdentoista 3.\u20136.-luokkalaisen yksil\u00f6haastatteluista, jotka toteutettiin alkuvuodesta 2023. Haastatteluiden litteroinnin j\u00e4lkeen aineisto analysoitiin teoriaohjaavalla sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysill\u00e4. Ohjaavana teoriana toimi Konun (2002) koulun hyvinvointimalli, joka koostuu nelj\u00e4st\u00e4 hyvinvoinnin osa-alueesta: koulun olosuhteet, sosiaaliset suhteet, itsens\u00e4 toteuttamisen mahdollisuudet ja terveydentila.\nTutkimustuloksista ilmenee, ett\u00e4 oppilaiden mielest\u00e4 kouluhyvinvointiin vaikuttivat erityisesti vertaissuhteet, viihtyis\u00e4t koulun tilat, mieluisat kouluaineet sek\u00e4 opettajat. Tulosten mukaan kouluhyvinvointia voisi oppilaiden k\u00e4sitysten perusteella parantaa sill\u00e4, ett\u00e4 v\u00e4litunneilla olisi paljon aktiviteetteja, jokaisella olisi paljon kavereita ja ket\u00e4\u00e4n ei kiusattaisi. Tutkimus osoitti, ett\u00e4 vaikka oppilaat kokivat vaikuttamisen ja itsens\u00e4 toteuttamisen mahdollisuudet t\u00e4rkein\u00e4, heid\u00e4n oli vaikea tunnistaa niit\u00e4 kouluymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4. Konun (2002) hyvinvointimallin nelj\u00e4st\u00e4 osa-alueesta eniten tuloksissa korostuivat sosiaalisten suhteiden sek\u00e4 koulun olosuhteiden vaikutukset kouluhyvinvointiin.\nTutkimuksen perusteella voidaan p\u00e4\u00e4tell\u00e4, ett\u00e4 lasten \u00e4\u00e4nen kuuleminen on t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 kouluhyvinvointikeskustelussa ja lis\u00e4\u00e4 tutkimusta tarvitaan alakouluik\u00e4isten osalta.
