T\u00e4m\u00e4n lis\u00e4ksi ty\u00f6n tarkoituksena oli selkeytt\u00e4\u00e4 liikuntapedagogiikan aikuiskoulutuksen maisteriohjelman kasvatusteoreettisiin perusteisiin liittyvi\u00e4 ilmauksia, k\u00e4sitteit\u00e4 ja teoreettisia l\u00e4ht\u00f6kohtia. Tutkimus oli monialainen sen sijoittuessa niin yleisen kasvatustieteen kuin aikuiskasvatustieteen sek\u00e4 liikuntatieteen kentille.\n\nTutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena hermeneuttista tutkimusotetta hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en. Tutkimuksen aineisto koostui liikuntapedagogiikan aikuiskoulutuksen maisteriohjelman opetussuunnitelmasta sek\u00e4 kouluttajien haastattelusta. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin kahdessa vaiheessa. Ensimm\u00e4isess\u00e4 vaiheessa aineistoksi ker\u00e4ttiin liikuntapedagogiikan aikuiskoulutuksen maisteriohjelman opetussuunnitelma kes\u00e4ll\u00e4 2022. Aineistonkeruun toisessa vaiheessa haastatteluaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin syyskuussa 2022 ryhm\u00e4haastattelun avulla. Analyysimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6ist\u00e4 systemaattista analyysia. \n\nTutkimuksen tulosten perusteella koulutusohjelman kasvatusteoreettisista perusteista voidaan todeta seuraavat viisi asiaa. Koulutusohjelman k\u00e4sitys tiedosta perustuu laajalti oppijan oman kokemuksen hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4miseen tiedon l\u00e4hteen\u00e4. Koulutusohjelman k\u00e4sityksen mukaan aikuinen oppija on itsen\u00e4inen, autonominen ja vastuullinen toimija, jonka kokemusta ja jo kertynytt\u00e4 asiantuntijuutta arvostetaan. Keskeisen\u00e4 tavoitteena ja p\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n\u00e4 koulutusohjelmassa on oppijan ammatillisen ja inhimillisen kasvun ja kehittymisen tukeminen, joita tukevat tutkimustuloksissa m\u00e4\u00e4ritellyt viisi osaamisaluetta. Koulutusohjelman oppimisv\u00e4lineet mukailevat aikuispedagogisia, oppijakeskeisi\u00e4 sek\u00e4 yhteis\u00f6llisen oppimisen mukaisia menetelmi\u00e4. Additionally, the study aimed to clarify expressions, concepts, and theoretical premises related to the educational theoretical foundations of the program. The study was interdisciplinary, as it was situated in the fields of education, adult education, and sports science.\n\nThe study was conducted as a qualitative study, using a hermeneutic research approach. The data consisted of the program curriculum and an interview with program teachers. The data was collected in two phases. In the first phase, the program curriculum was collected in the summer of 2022. In the second phase, the interview data was collected in September 2022 through a group interview. The data was analyzed using a data-based systematic analysis.\n\nBased on the results of the study, the following five points can be made regarding the educational theoretical principles of the program. The program's conception of knowledge is largely based on utilizing the learner's own experiences as a source of knowledge. The program's view of adult learners is that they are independent, autonomous, and responsible, and that their previous experiences and expertise are valued. The central objective is to support the learner's professional and personal growth and development, supported by the five competence areas identified in the research results. Learning tools follow adult pedagogical, learner-centered, and collaborative learning methods.
