Tutkimuksen tarkoitus oli kuvata ja ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4\u00e4 mit\u00e4 mahdollisuuksia ja mit\u00e4 merkityst\u00e4 eriytt\u00e4misell\u00e4 on oppilaan kannalta. Tutkimusaihe valikoitui, koska tutkijoilla oli oletuksena, ett\u00e4 eriytt\u00e4minen vaikuttaa positiivisesti oppilaan osallistumiseen liikuntatunnilla.\n\nTutkimusmenetelm\u00e4 oli kvalitatiivinen, eli laadullinen. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin s\u00e4hk\u00f6isell\u00e4 Google Forms -kyselylomakkeella seitsem\u00e4lt\u00e4 liikuntaa opettaneelta henkil\u00f6lt\u00e4. Aineisto analysoitiin laadullisen sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysin keinoin. Analyysissa pyrittiin lis\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 vastanneiden henkil\u00f6iden kokemuksista, jonka vuoksi tutkimuksen tieteenfilosofinen l\u00e4ht\u00f6kohta on fenomenologis-hermeneuttinen.\n\nTutkimuksen mukaan eriytt\u00e4minen lis\u00e4\u00e4 autonomiaa ja osallisuutta mitk\u00e4 puolestaan lis\u00e4\u00e4v\u00e4t osallistumista ja aktiivisuutta ja lopputuloksena oppilaat ovat fyysisesti aktiivisempia ja l\u00f6yt\u00e4v\u00e4t liikunnan ilon. Eriytt\u00e4minen mahdollistaa tutkimuksen mukaan my\u00f6s oppilaan kohtaamisen paremmin. Tutkimukseen vastanneista nelj\u00e4 k\u00e4yttiv\u00e4t eriytt\u00e4mist\u00e4 p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4in, yksi vastasi k\u00e4ytt\u00e4v\u00e4ns\u00e4 s\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6llisesti ja kaksi olivat sit\u00e4 mielt\u00e4, ett\u00e4 eiv\u00e4t k\u00e4yt\u00e4 eriytt\u00e4mist\u00e4 niin usein resurssipulan takia. Resursseja tarvittaisiin lis\u00e4\u00e4, ryhm\u00e4kokoja pit\u00e4isi pienent\u00e4\u00e4 ja eriytt\u00e4minen tulisi olla t\u00e4rke\u00e4ss\u00e4 roolissa liikunnanopettajien koulutuksessa, jotta ty\u00f6kaluja kent\u00e4ll\u00e4 liikuntaa opettavilla olisi riitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti. Tutkimuksen johtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksen\u00e4 voidaan korostaa yksil\u00f6n huomioimisen ja kohtaamisen t\u00e4rkeytt\u00e4. Jokainen oppilas on yksil\u00f6 ja jokaisen ihmisen perustarve on tulla kuulluksi ja n\u00e4hdyksi.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "In this study, the experiences of physical education teachers were examined as to what importance differentiation was perceived to have on the participation and involvement of middle school students in school physical education classes. The purpose of the study was to describe and understand the possibilities and significance of differentiation for the student. We chose this research topic because we had a scientific suspicion that differentiation has a positive effect on student participation in physical education class.\n\nThe research method was a qualitative method. The data was collected using an electronic Google Forms questionnaire from seven people who taught physical education. The material was analysed using qualitative content analysis. The analysis aimed to increase understanding of the experiences of the respondents, which is why the scientific-philosophical starting point of the research is phenomenological-hermeneutic.\n\nAccording to research, differentiation increases autonomy and inclusion, which in turn increases participation and activity, and as a result, students are more physically active and find the joy of exercise. According to the research, differentiation also enables better encounters with the student. Of the survey respondents, four used segregations daily, one answered that they used it regularly, and two believed they do not use segregation that often due to a lack of resources. According to the study, other obstacles to differentiation were the rush and large group sizes. Two of the respondents felt that they have too few tools for differentiation.\n\nBased on the research, it can be concluded that differentiation in physical education classes in upper school is profitable and it should be worth investing in. More resources would be needed, group sizes should be reduced, and differentiation should play an important role in the training of physical education teachers, so that those teaching physical education have enough tools on the field. As a conclusion of the study, the importance of considering and meeting the individual can be emphasized.
