Tutkimuksen aineistonkeruu suoritettiin kahden viikon \naikana tammikuussa 2023 liikemittareilla mitaten sek\u00e4 kyselomakkeella. Tutkimus toteutettiin \nkvantitatiivisella eli m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisell\u00e4 tutkimusotteella. Tutkimuksen aineiston analysoimiseen \nk\u00e4ytettiin SPSS statistic 26-ohjelmalla. Aineistoa kuvailtiin keskiarvojen avulla. \nLiikemittaritulosten vertailuun k\u00e4ytettiin toistettujen mittausten varianssianalyysi\u00e4 \nensimm\u00e4isen ja toisen mittauskerran v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Tutkittavien omien kokemuksien vertailu \nv\u00e4lituntiliikunnasta tehtiin Wilcoxonin-testill\u00e4. V\u00e4lituntiliikunnan lis\u00e4\u00e4misen yhteytt\u00e4 koulussa \nviihtymiseen ja jaksamiseen testattiin korrelaatiolla. \nReippaan ja raskaan liikunnan m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyi kummallakin sukupuolella ohjatun \nv\u00e4lituntiliikunnan avulla tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4sti. V\u00e4lituntien aikainen paikallaan olo v\u00e4heni \ntilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4sti, keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin noin 19 minuuttia. Sukupuolella ei havaittu olevan \ntilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4\u00e4 eroa fyysisen aktiivisuuden lis\u00e4\u00e4ntymisess\u00e4 tai paikallaanolon \nv\u00e4henemisess\u00e4. \nOppilaiden omiin kokemuksiin perustuvan kyselyn mukaan interventioviikon j\u00e4lkeen \ntutkittavat vastasivat kokevansa jaksavansa koulup\u00e4iv\u00e4n paremmin sek\u00e4 kokevansa itsens\u00e4 \nv\u00e4hemm\u00e4n v\u00e4syneiksi. Lis\u00e4ksi yksin\u00e4isyytt\u00e4 koettiin v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n ja ohjattua v\u00e4lituntiliikuntaa \ntoivottiin enemm\u00e4n. Muutos normaaliin viikkoon oli tilastollisesti merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4. \nTutkimustulokset olivat samansuuntaisia kuin aiemmat tutkimukset sek\u00e4 fyysisen \naktiivisuuden, ett\u00e4 kouluhyvinvoinnin osalta. The study evaluated the effects of guided recess exercises on activity, coping, \nand well-being at school. Data collection for the study was carried out over two weeks in \nJanuary 2023, measuring physical activity with motion meters and well-being using a \nquestionnaire. The study was carried out with a quantitative research approach. \n \nThe SPSS Statistic 26 program was used to analyze the research data. The data was described \nby using mean values. The analysis of variance was used to compare the mean values between \nthe first and second time of measurements. The Wilcoxon test was used to measure subjects' \nexperiences with recess exercises. The association between increasing recess exercise time and \nschool satisfaction was measured with correlations. \n \nAccording to the results, moderate and vigorous physical activity increased statistically \nsignificantly in both genders with the help of guided interval exercise. Standing still during \nbreaks also decreased significantly, on average approximately 19 minutes. Gender was not \nfound to have a statistically significant difference in increasing physical activity or decreasing \nsedentary time. \n \nAccording to the questionnaire based on the experiences of students after intervention week, \nthe subjects responded that they felt they could handle the school day better and that they felt \nless tired after the intervention week. In addition, loneliness was felt less, and during recess, \nthere was a greater request for guided exercise. The change between a normal week to \nintervention week was statistically significant. \n \nThe study results were in the same direction as previous studies, both in terms of physical \nactivity and well-being at school.
