Positiivisen pedagogiikan periaatteina ovat hyvinvoinnin k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6jen edist\u00e4minen sek\u00e4 ihmisen hyveiden ja vahvuuksien korostaminen. Yhdess\u00e4 hyv\u00e4n opetuksen kanssa positiivinen pedagogiikka kannustaa ja tukee kouluyhteis\u00f6\u00e4 kukoistamaan. Positiivista pedagogiikkaa on tutkittu paljon kansainv\u00e4lisesti ja Suomessa varhaiskasvatuksen puolella. \nTutkimuksemme metodologinen viitekehys oli fenomenologis-hermeneuttinen ja se toteutettiin tapaustutkimuksena teemahaastattelemalla keskisuomalaisen koulun kuutta opettajaa, jotka toteuttavat positiivista pedagogiikkaa kouluyhteis\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n. Analyysimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 tutkimuksessamme oli teoriaohjaava sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysi ja luokittelu. \nTutkimuksestamme mukaan opettajat olivat tehneet tietoisen p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksen keskitty\u00e4 hyv\u00e4n huomaamiseen ja vahvuuksien korostamiseen. Tutkimuksemme selvisi, ett\u00e4 positiivinen pedagogiikka edist\u00e4\u00e4 hyvinvointia ja t\u00e4ten auttaa kohtaamaan vastoink\u00e4ymisi\u00e4 (resilienssi) sek\u00e4 lis\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n koko kouluyhteis\u00f6n onnellisuutta ja yhteis\u00f6llisyytt\u00e4 (kukoistus). Opettajat kokivat positiivisen pedagogiikan keskeiseksi ty\u00f6motivaation l\u00e4hteeksi ja koko pedagogiikkansa pohjaksi. \nPositiivinen pedagogiikka on tehokas toimintatapa koko kouluyhteis\u00f6n hyvinvoinnin lis\u00e4\u00e4miseen. Sen vaikutuksista on paljon my\u00f6nteist\u00e4 n\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 ja tutkimuksemme vahvistaa sit\u00e4.
