Myös henkilöstöjohtamisessa käytetään big dataa henkilöstöanalyysin avulla rekrytoinnin lisäksi strategisen liiketoiminnan tukemisen kehittämiseksi. Työntekijöiden suoritteista kerättävän datan ja henkilöstöanalyysin avulla voidaan kerätä tietoa strategian toteutumisesta, mutta myös sen tukemisesta. Tutkielman painopiste on suorituksista kerättävän datan analysointi ja esittäminen dataraportointijärjestelmän avulla työntekijöille. Uskomuksena on, että esitettävän data-analyysin avulla pystytään vaikuttamaan positiivisesta työntekijöiden kokemaan työn imuun, eli lisäämään työmotivaatiota ja sitoutuneisuutta organisaatioon. Raportointijärjestelmässä esitetty data-analyysi nähdään verrattavissa palautteeksi työntekijän suoriutumisesta. Tutkielmassa esitetään millaiset raportointijärjestelmän ominaisuudet tukevat parhaiten työn imun johtamista. Havainnoissa työntekijän työn imua parhaiten tukeviksi ominaisuuksiksi esitetään datan reaaliaikaisuus sekä avoimuus siten, että palautetta voidaan verrata vertaisryhmän saamaan palautteeseen. Datan analysointi- ja esitystavalla havaitaan olevan eniten merkitystä käyttäjän näkökulmasta sekä kehitysvaiheessa käyttäjälähtöisyyden lähtökohta nousee merkittäväksi. This Bachelor's Thesis seeks to find out how data can be utilized in work engagement management through a literature review. Big data has made it possible to collect as well as analyze huge amounts of business-related information. Also, human resources management uses big data through HR analysis from recruitment purposes to develop strategic business support in its area. Employees’ performance products data and HR analysis which can be used to collect and measure information regarding the implementation of the strategy, but also point out where it needs to be supported. The focus of the thesis is the analysis and presentation of data collected from performance through a data reporting system to employees. The belief is that the data analysis presented will be able to influence the work engagement experienced by employees. Work engagement will increase employees’ work motivation and commitment to organization. The data analysis presented in the reporting system is seen as comparatively feedback on the employees’ performance. The best support system features are presented to manage the work engagement with the help of the system. In the findings, the characteristics that best support managing work engagement are presenting real-time data and presenting it transparently so that the feedback from the system can be compared to a peer group. The way data is analyzed and presented is found to be most relevant from the user's point of view, and in the development phase the starting point of the user-orientation is significant.
