Rekrytointi on organisaatiossa \nt\u00e4rke\u00e4 teht\u00e4v\u00e4, kun organisaatiossa tarvitaan uusia tekij\u00f6it\u00e4 tai uusia osaajia. \nNykyp\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4 monessa organisaatiossa toiminta perustuu asiantuntijuuteen, \njolloin onnistuneiden rekrytointien t\u00e4rkeys korostuu entisest\u00e4\u00e4n. Rekrytointien \nt\u00e4rkeydest\u00e4 huolimatta rekrytoinneissa koetaan monenlaisia haasteita. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 pro \ngradu -tutkielmassa tutkittiin rekrytoinnin haasteita ja teko\u00e4lyn hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4mist\u00e4 \nrekrytoinneissa t\u00e4ll\u00e4 hetkell\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi ker\u00e4ttiin rekrytoinnin ammattilaisten\najatuksia siit\u00e4, miten teko\u00e4ly voisi olla apuna ratkaisemassa rekrytoinnin \nhaasteita. Tutkimuksen teoriaosa toteutettiin aiempiin tutkimuksiin \npohjautuvana kirjallisuuskatkauksena ja tutkimuksen empiirisen osion aineisto \nker\u00e4ttiin haastattelemalla kokeneita rekrytoinnin ammattilaisia. Tutkimuksen \ntulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 rekrytoinneissa yleisimm\u00e4t haasteet johtuvat \nrekrytoinnin niukoista resursseista. Monet haasteet ratkeaisivat, mik\u00e4li \nrekrytoijilla ja muilla rekrytointiin osallistuvilla henkil\u00f6ill\u00e4 olisi k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n \nenemm\u00e4n aikaa toteuttaa rekrytointi laadukkaasti. Toisaalta my\u00f6s niukat \nbudjetit n\u00e4kyv\u00e4t tutkimustuloksissa; esimerkiksi rekrytointij\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4n \npanostaminen ei ole mahdollista, koska rekrytointia ei n\u00e4hd\u00e4 strategisesti \nriitt\u00e4v\u00e4n t\u00e4rke\u00e4n\u00e4 ja siihen ei allokoida rahaa. Osin t\u00e4m\u00e4n takia teko\u00e4ly\u00e4 ei ole \nviel\u00e4 kovin paljoa hy\u00f6dynnetty rekrytoinneissa. Suomessa teko\u00e4lyn \nhy\u00f6dynt\u00e4minen rekrytoinneissa rajoittuu tutkimustulosten perusteella pitk\u00e4lti \nhakijaviestint\u00e4\u00e4n ja hakemusten arviointiin. My\u00f6s hakijan soveltuvuudessa \nvoidaan hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 teko\u00e4ly\u00e4. To find new talents recruitment plays an important role also \nseen from strategical viewpoint. Nowadays organizations\u2019 work and operations \nare based on expertise and knowledge which highlights the need for successful \nrecruitment. However, there are still number of challenges to be solved in \nrecruitment. In this master's thesis, the challenges and the use of AI in \nrecruitment are investigated with the aim to find out how AI could help on \nsolving the challenges of recruitment. The results of the study showed that the \nmost common challenges in recruitments are limited resources in time and \nmoney. Many challenges could be solved if recruiters and other people involved \nin recruitment would have more time to carry out the recruitment with high \nquality. Accordingly, more money allocated to recruitments \u2013 e.g., investments \nin advanced recruitment systems would be helpful. One reason could be that the \nrecruitment is not seen strategically important to be one of the top priorities in \nbudgeting. These shortages might explain why AI is not yet well-known \ntechnology in recruitment. The results show that the use of AI is limited to \napplicant communication and the evaluation of applications in Finland. \nAccordingly, AI can be used in the applicant's suitability. The interviewees were \nasked about their own vision for the development of AI assisting the recruitment \nin future. Majority hoped that AI could minimize the manual work and lead to \nmore efficient recruitment process. On the other hand, they highlighted the \nhuman touch, e.g., human thoughts and intuition should not be forgotten. To \nconclude, AI is seen as a good helping hand for recruiters, but it should not \nreplace the human touch in recruitments.
