Arvon yhteisluonti viittaa tiimin j\u00e4senten resurssien, kuten tiedon, integroimiseen tai k\u00e4ytt\u00e4miseen yhteisty\u00f6alustalla arvon muodostumiseksi. Arvon yhteistuhoaminen viittaa resurssien integroimisen negatiiviseen puoleen. Alustan eri ominaisuuksien k\u00e4yt\u00f6n mahdollisuudet ja haasteet sek\u00e4 niiden realisoituminen huomioidaan harvoin kokonaisvaltaisesti. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli siten selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, miten arvon yhteisluontia ja yhteistuhoamista (arvoprosesseja) tapahtuu yhteisty\u00f6alustalla tiimin j\u00e4senten n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta; millaisiin arvoprosesseihin alustan k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 johtaa; sek\u00e4 millaisia mahdollisuuksia ja haasteita alustan eri ominaisuuksien k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n liittyy. Tutkimuksessa 29 yhteisty\u00f6alustaa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 tiimin j\u00e4sent\u00e4 haastateltiin laddering-menetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4. Haastatteluista muodostui arvoprosesseja kuvastavia ketjuja (ominaisuus-seuraus-arvo). Tulosten mukaan arvoprosesseja tapahtuu tiimin j\u00e4senen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ess\u00e4 alustaa v\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4n yhden tiimin j\u00e4senen kanssa yht\u00e4- tai eriaikaisesti. Tiimin yhten\u00e4iset odotukset ja toimivat k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6t mahdollistavat arvon yhteisluontia. Arvoprosessi voi n\u00e4ytt\u00e4yty\u00e4 erilaisena eri tiimin j\u00e4senille ja johtaa tiimin j\u00e4senen yksil\u00f6llisiin tai tiimin kollektiivisiin arvoihin tai niiden sekoitukseen. Yhteisty\u00f6alustojen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 yhdistettiin moniin mahdollisuuksiin ja haasteisiin. Mahdollisuudet koskevat esimerkiksi tiedon l\u00f6ydett\u00e4vyytt\u00e4 ja saatavuutta, nopeiden reaktioiden ja kommenttien saamista sek\u00e4 hiljaisempienkin tiimin j\u00e4senten kannustamista jakamaan ajatuksiaan. Alustan k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 voi tukea tehokkuutta ja tehokasta ajank\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4, ty\u00f6teht\u00e4vien etenemist\u00e4 ja valmistumista sek\u00e4 yhteenkuuluvuutta ja yhteis\u00f6llisyytt\u00e4. The use of collaboration platforms has been associated with different opportunities and challenges, which can be seen as manifestations of value co-creation and co-destruction. Value co-creation refers to the integration or use of team members\u2019 resources, such as information, on the collaboration platform to generate value. Value co-destruction refers to the negative side of resource integration. The opportunities and challenges of using the various features of the platform and their realisation are seldom considered comprehensively. Thus, the purpose of the study was to find out how value co-creation and co-destruction (value processes) occur on the collaboration platform from the perspective of team members; what kind of value processes the use of the platform leads to; and the opportunities and challenges related to the use of the various features of the platform. In the study, 29 team members that use collaboration platforms were interviewed using laddering technique. The interviews formed chains (feature-consequence-value) reflecting value processes. The results show that value processes occur when a team member uses the platform simultaneously or consecutively with at least one other team member. The team\u2019s uniform expectations and functional practices enable value co-creation. A value process can be different to different team members and lead to the team member\u2019s individual or the team\u2019s collective values or a mix of these values. The use of collaboration platforms was associated with many opportunities and challenges. The opportunities include the findability and availability of information, getting quick reactions and comments, and encouraging even the more silent team members to share their thoughts. The use of the platform can support efficiency and efficient use of time, the advancement and completion of work tasks, and togetherness and a sense of community. The challenges include slowness in getting responses as well as difficulty concentrating, suffering of being present, and becoming passive. The use of the platform may result in the weakening of communication climate and ambiance, burdensomeness as well as inefficiency and ineffective use of time.
