Suomessa k\u00e4ynnistyi ensimm\u00e4inen verkkopainotteinen fysioterapeuttikoulutus ammattikorkeakoulussa, ja opiskelijoiden k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 t\u00e4st\u00e4 ei ole viel\u00e4 tutkittu. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli lis\u00e4t\u00e4 ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 fysioterapeuttiopiskelijoiden laadullisesti erilaisista k\u00e4sityksist\u00e4 oppimisesta verkkopainotteisessa fysioterapeuttikoulutuksessa sek\u00e4 k\u00e4sitysten v\u00e4lisist\u00e4 yhteyksist\u00e4.\nTutkimus toteutettiin haastattelututkimuksena fenomenografista tutkimusotetta hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en. Tutkimukseen osallistui yhteens\u00e4 kahdeksan 21\u201359-vuotiasta ensimm\u00e4isen lukukauden verkkopainotteisen fysioterapeuttikoulutuksen opiskelijaa suomalaisesta ammattikorkeakoulusta. Haastatteluaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin maalis- ja huhtikuussa 2022 yksil\u00f6llisten haastattelujen avulla, jotka toteutettiin et\u00e4yhteyksien (Zoom) v\u00e4lityksell\u00e4. Haastattelujen litterointi tapahtui sanasta sanaan, ja aineiston analyysiss\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin \u00c5kerlindin mukaista fenomenografista analyysi\u00e4. Tutkimuksen tulokset kuvastavat kollektiivisesti tutkittavien erilaisia k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 tutkimusilmi\u00f6st\u00e4.\nFysioterapeuttiopiskelijoiden k\u00e4sitykset oppimisesta verkkopainotteisessa fysioterapeuttikoulutuksessa jakaantuivat kolmeen hierarkkisesti laajenevaan kuvauskategoriaan: 1) Verkkopainotteinen oppiminen tiedon ja taidon hankkimisena II) Verkkopainotteinen oppiminen yksil\u00f6lle mukautuvana prosessina III) Verkkopainotteinen oppiminen mahdollistajana. Kuvauskategoriat varioivat viidess\u00e4 teemassa: 1) itsen\u00e4isyys, 2) verkkoymp\u00e4rist\u00f6, 3) l\u00e4hiopetus, 4) vuorovaikutus ja 5) yhteis\u00f6llisyys. Kriittiset erot ilmeniv\u00e4t teemoja tarkasteltaessa. Ensimm\u00e4isen ja toisen kategorian v\u00e4lill\u00e4 erot olivat \u201dtiedon omaksuminen itsen\u00e4isesti tai ohjattuna\u201d ja \u201doman osaamisen arviointi\u201d. Toisen ja kolmannen kategorian kriittiset erot olivat \u201dopiskelijan el\u00e4m\u00e4ntilanteeseen sopeutuva oppiminen\u201d ja \u201drohkeus toimia fysioterapeuttina\u201d.\nTutkimustulokset lis\u00e4\u00e4v\u00e4t ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 fysioterapeuttiopiskelijoiden laadullisesti erilaisista k\u00e4sityksist\u00e4 oppimisesta verkkopainotteisessa fysioterapeuttikoulutuksessa. Tuloksissa korostuivat fysioterapeuttiopiskelijoiden k\u00e4sitykset itsen\u00e4isen opiskelun t\u00e4rkeydest\u00e4, sek\u00e4 huolet fysioterapeutin k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ntaitojen harjaantumisesta sek\u00e4 suuren tietom\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4n sis\u00e4ist\u00e4misest\u00e4. The first online-based physiotherapy course has started at a university of applied sciences, and students' perceptions of this have not yet been studied. The aim of the study was to increase knowledge of physiotherapy students' qualitatively different conceptions about learning in online-based physiotherapy course, and the connections between the conceptions\nThe research was carried out as an interview study using a phenomenographic methodology. A total of eight 21-59-year-old first-semester online-focused physiotherapy students from a Finnish university of applied sciences participated in the study. The interview data were collected in March and April 2022 via individual remote (Zoom) interviews. The interviews were transcribed verbatim, and the phenomenographic analysis according to \u00c5kerlind-method was used in the analysis. The results of the study collectively reflect the different perceptions of the research informants about the research phenomenon.\nPhysiotherapist students' perceptions of learning in online-based physiotherapist training were divided into three hierarchically expanding categories of description: 1) Online-based learning as the acquisition of knowledge and skills II) Online-based learning as a process that adapts to individual needs III) Online-based learning as an opportunity. The descriptive categories varied in five themes: 1) independence, 2) online environment, 3) face-to-face teaching, 4) interaction and 5) community. Critical differences emerged when examining the themes. The critical differences between the first and second categories were \"acquiring knowledge independently or under guidance\" and \"assessment of one's own competence\". The critical differences between the second and third categories were \"learning adapted to the student's life situation\" and \"courage to work as a physiotherapist\".\nThe research results increase the understanding of the qualitatively different perceptions of physiotherapy students about learning in online-focused physiotherapy students\u2019 education. The results highlighted the perceptions of physiotherapy students about the importance of independent study, as well as concerns about the training a physiotherapist's practical skills and internalizing a large amount of information.
