Helsinki on toiminut asiassa \npioneerina, sill\u00e4 se on yksi kaupungeista, joissa sekaryhm\u00e4opetus on yl\u00e4kouluissa t\u00e4n\u00e4 p\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4 \nvallitseva liikunnanopetuksen toteuttamistapa.\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 yl\u00e4kouluik\u00e4isten oppilaiden n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 siit\u00e4, \nmillaisessa opetusryhm\u00e4ss\u00e4 liikunnanopetus tulisi toteuttaa eri liikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6iss\u00e4. \nErityisen\u00e4 tavoitteena oli helsinkil\u00e4isten yl\u00e4koulujen oppilaiden n\u00e4kemyksien selvitt\u00e4minen. \nN\u00e4kemyksiin mahdollisesti yhteydess\u00e4 olevina tekij\u00f6in\u00e4 tarkasteltiin nykyist\u00e4 ja aiempaa \nopetusryhm\u00e4\u00e4, sukupuolta, luokka-astetta, liikuntanumeroa, valinnaisliikuntaan osallistumista \nja opetusryhm\u00e4n kokoa. Lis\u00e4ksi selvitettiin, onko liikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ll\u00e4 vaikutusta oppilaiden \nn\u00e4kemyksiin. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin kyselylomakkein 334 oppilaalta kolmesta eri \nhelsinkil\u00e4isest\u00e4 koulusta. M\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisen aineiston analysoinnissa k\u00e4ytettiin ristiintaulukointia\nsek\u00e4 khiin neli\u00f6 -testi\u00e4 (\u03c72).\nAiemmalla ja nykyisell\u00e4 opetusryhm\u00e4ll\u00e4 oli tilastollisesti eritt\u00e4in merkitsev\u00e4 yhteys oppilaiden \nn\u00e4kemyksiin. Opetusryhm\u00e4n koolla oli tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4 yhteys n\u00e4kemyksiin. Muilla \ntaustamuuttujilla, kuten luokka-asteella, sukupuolella, liikuntanumerolla tai valinnaisliikuntaan \nosallistumisella ei havaittu olevan yhteytt\u00e4 n\u00e4kemyksiin. Erillisryhm\u00e4opetuksen kannatus oli \nsuurinta vesiliikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4 ja pienint\u00e4 luontoliikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4. Sekaryhm\u00e4opetuksen \nkannatus oli suurinta luontoliikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4 ja pienint\u00e4 vesiliikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4. \nJoustavan opetusryhm\u00e4jaon kannatuksessa ei ollut merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 vaihtelua eri \nliikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6jen v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Eri opetusryhm\u00e4tyyppien kannatus vaihteli huomattavasti eri \nliikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6iss\u00e4.\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tulokset ovat osittain samansuuntaisia aiempien tutkielmien kanssa. \nAiemman ja nykyisen opetusryhm\u00e4n tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4 yhteys oppilaiden n\u00e4kemyksiin \ntukee aiheesta aiemmin saatuja tutkimustuloksia. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa havaittiin my\u00f6s \nopetusryhm\u00e4n koon yhteys oppilaiden n\u00e4kemyksiin. Toisin kuin aiemmat tutkielmat, t\u00e4m\u00e4 \ntutkielma ei l\u00f6yt\u00e4nyt havaintoa siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 liikuntanumerolla olisi yhteytt\u00e4 oppilaiden \nn\u00e4kemyksiin. Aiempien tutkimustulosten sek\u00e4 t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman perusteella voidaan sanoa, ett\u00e4 \nliikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6itt\u00e4in vaihteleva joustava ryhm\u00e4jako olisi oppilaiden n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta paras \nmahdollinen liikunnanopetuksen toteuttamistapa. Tutkielman perusteella voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4\nvesiliikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4 opetus olisi hyv\u00e4 toteuttaa sukupuolen mukaan jaetuissa \nerillisryhmiss\u00e4, kun taas muissa liikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6ss\u00e4 sekaryhm\u00e4opetus olisi suositeltavampaa.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "In recent years, the traditional structural division into boys\u00b4 and girls\u00b4 physical education\ngroups in secondary school education is being dismantled at an accelerating rate nationwide.\nHelsinki has been a pioneer in this matter, as it is one of the cities where mixed group\neducation is the prevailing way of implementing physical education in secondary schools\ntoday.\nThe purpose of this dissertation was to study the opinions of secondary school children based\non the type of learning group in various physical education environments. The main objective\nwas to find out the views of pupils in three different Helsinki schools. The present and\nprevious PE group, gender, mark in school report, PE grade, and participation in optional PE\nactivities were considered as possible factors having an influence on the opinion. In addition,\nit was investigated whether the physical environment of the activity had any impact on\nstudents\u00b4 answers. The research material was collected through questionnaires from 334\nsecondary school pupils. Cross-tabulation and the chi-square test (\u03c72) were used to analyze\nthe quantitative data.\nThe earlier and the current teaching group had statistically a highly significant impact on the\npupils\u00b4 views. The group size had a lesser, but also a significant influence. Other background\nvariables such as grade level, gender, school report mark in PE, or participation in optional\nPE, were not found to play any important role in their opinion. The support for dividing the\npupils according to gender was highest in water sports environment and lowest while in\nnature. As far as tuition took place outdoors in nature, the pupils seemed to favor mixed\ngender groups, whereas same-sex groups received the lowest support in water sports. There\nwas no statistically significant preference for exercise locations as to the flexibly divided\nlearner groups. The views varied considerably depending on the environment.\nThe results of this dissertation are partly in line with the previous ones. The statistically\nsignificant association between the previous and the current teaching group supports the\nresults obtained in earlier studies. Furthermore, the present research found out a connection\nbetween the group size and the opinions. Unlike earlier studies, this dissertation found no\nconnection between the report marks and the preference how to divide the pupils into groups.\nBased on the results of the previous research and this study, it can be argued that a learner\ngroup division should be made according to the physical environment of the sports class.
