Taitoja on mahdollista opettaa eri tavoin. Oppimistuloksen kannalta t\u00e4rkeint\u00e4 on l\u00f6yt\u00e4\u00e4 sellainen menetelm\u00e4, joka kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 oppijaa parhaalla tavalla ja tuottaa pysyvi\u00e4 oppimistuloksia. Liikuntataitojen opetus on perinteisesti pohjautunut k\u00e4sitykseen oppimisen lineaarisuudesta, jossa harjoittelun ja palautteen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 korreloi oppimisen kanssa. On uskottu, ett\u00e4 on olemassa t\u00e4ydellinen suoritustekniikka, johon jokaisen tulee pyrki\u00e4 virheit\u00e4 korjaamalla. T\u00e4ll\u00e4 hetkell\u00e4 ajattelutapa pohjautuu k\u00e4sitykseen jokaisen oppijan yksil\u00f6llisyydest\u00e4. Samat harjoitteet ja palautteenantotavat eiv\u00e4t v\u00e4ltt\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00e4 toimi kaikille. Runsas vaihtelun m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 on nykytutkimuksen valossa osoittautunut tehokkaaksi keinoksi opettaa motorisia taitoja. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tavoitteena on perehty\u00e4 yhteen vaihtelua sis\u00e4lt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4n opetusmenetelm\u00e4\u00e4n, differentiaalioppimiseen ja verrata sit\u00e4 perinteiseen toistoihin perustuvaan opetusmenetelm\u00e4\u00e4n. Tarkoituksena on arvioida, kumman opetusmenetelm\u00e4n avulla on mahdollista saavuttaa pysyv\u00e4mpi\u00e4 oppimistuloksia.\n\nMenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa oli interventio. Interventiossa 12\u201314-vuotiaat (N=18) salibandyn pelaajat jaettiin perinteiseen- ja differentiaaliryhm\u00e4\u00e4n. Molemmat ryhm\u00e4t harjoittelivat salibandyn haltuunottoa ja sy\u00f6tt\u00f6\u00e4. Differentiaaliryhm\u00e4n opetukseen sovellettiin differentiaalioppimista ja perinteisen ryhm\u00e4n opetukseen blokkimaista toistoharjoittelua. Harjoittelujakso kesti kolme viikkoa, jonka aikana molemmat ryhm\u00e4t harjoittelivat kuusi kertaa. Ennen harjoittelua suoritettiin alkutesti, jossa koehenkil\u00f6n teht\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 oli ottaa haltuun 10 pomppivaa palloa ja sy\u00f6tt\u00e4\u00e4 pallo mahdollisimman tarkasti. Suorituksesta mitattiin aikaa ja sy\u00f6tt\u00f6tarkkuutta. Sama testi toistettiin harjoittelujakson p\u00e4\u00e4tytty\u00e4 lopputestin\u00e4 ja kolme viikkoa lopputestin j\u00e4lkeen pysyvyystestin\u00e4. Lopputestin ja pysyvyystestin v\u00e4li ei sis\u00e4lt\u00e4nyt harjoittelua.\n\nP\u00e4\u00e4tulokset tutkielmassa olivat, ett\u00e4 differentiaaliryhm\u00e4n testiin k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4 aika parani tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4sti enemm\u00e4n kuin perinteisen ryhm\u00e4n aika (p=0,040). Ajan parantuessa differentiaaliryhm\u00e4n sy\u00f6tt\u00f6tarkkuus parani my\u00f6s hieman, mutta ei tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4sti. Perinteisen ryhm\u00e4n ajan parantuessa sy\u00f6tt\u00f6tarkkuus heikkeni. Perinteisen ryhm\u00e4n ajan parantuminen korreloi sy\u00f6tt\u00f6tarkkuuden heikentymisen kanssa (p=0,050). T\u00e4m\u00e4 tukee teoriaa, jonka mukaan differentiaalioppimisen avulla saavutetaan pysyv\u00e4mpi\u00e4 oppimistuloksia perinteiseen toistoharjoitteluun verrattuna.\n\nTutkielman tulokset osoittavat selkeit\u00e4 viitteit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 differentiaalioppiminen kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 salibandyn haltuunottoa ja sy\u00f6tt\u00f6\u00e4 tehokkaammin ja pysyv\u00e4mmin kuin perinteinen menetelm\u00e4. Koehenkil\u00f6iden v\u00e4h\u00e4inen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 ja suuret tasoerot j\u00e4ttiv\u00e4t tutkielman ulkoisen validiteetin kuitenkin matalaksi. T\u00e4st\u00e4 johtuen t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tuloksia ei voida yleist\u00e4\u00e4. Harjoitusm\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4t j\u00e4iv\u00e4t my\u00f6s v\u00e4h\u00e4isiksi molempien ryhmien osalta, eiv\u00e4tk\u00e4 koehenkil\u00f6t p\u00e4\u00e4sset osallistumaan jokaiselle harjoituskerralla koronarajoitusten takia. Tulevaisuuden valmennuksessa ja liikunnanopetuksessa opetusmenetelmien tulisi kuitenkin sis\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4 paljon vaihtelua, jotta Suomessa kasvaisi taitavia ja monipuolisia liikkujia.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "Objectives in the teaching of movement skills are based on learning. It is possible to teach skills in different ways. The most important thing in learning is to find a method that produces retentive results of learning. The traditional thought of motor learning is based on the notion of the linearity of learning, where the amount of practice and feedback correlates with learning. It has been believed that there is a complete and perfect execution technique which everyone can learn by fixing their movement errors. The modern way of thinking is based on the individuality of each learner. Same exercises and feedback methods doesn\u2019t work for everyone. Current research states that a large amount of variation is an effective way to teach motor skills. The purpose of this study is to compare differential learning with traditional repetitive style. The aim is to assess which teaching method should be used to achieve more permanent learning outcomes.\n\nThis study is an intervention research. Floorball players aged 12\u201314 years (n = 18) were divided into traditional- and differential groups. Both groups practiced receiving and passing floorball. Differential learning was applied to teach the differential group and block-like repetitive practice to teach the traditional group. Training period lasted three weeks, during which both groups practiced six times. Pre-test was performed prior to training, in which the subject was tasked with receiving ten bouncing balls and passing the balls as accurately as possible. Performance time and passing accuracy were measured. The same test was repeated at the end of the training period as a post-test and three weeks after that as a retention test. The interval between the post-test and the retention test did not include training.\n\nThe study\u2019s main results were that the performance time of the differential group improved statistically significantly more than the performance time of the traditional group (p = 0.040). Differential group improved accuracy also slightly, but not statistically significantly. When traditional group improved test time, their passing accuracy got worse. The improvement in the test time of the traditional group correlated with the decrease in the passing accuracy (p = 0.050). This supports the theory that differential learning achieves more permanent learning outcomes than the traditional method.\n\nThe results of this study show clear indications that differential learning develops receiving and passing the floorball more efficiently and permanently than the traditional method. However, the small number of subjects and large differences in skills left the external validity of the study rather low. Consequently, the results of this study cannot be generalized. Training amounts also remained relatively low for both groups, and subjects were unable to participate in each training session due to covid-19 restrictions.
