N\u00e4in ollen kest\u00e4vien asiakassuhteiden luominen voi olla haastavaa, mutta se on samalla kriittist\u00e4 yrityksen menestyksen kannalta. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa k\u00e4sitell\u00e4\u00e4n k\u00e4ytt\u00f6liittym\u00e4\u00e4 osana asiakasuskollisuutta verkkokaupassa. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on auttaa hahmottamaan k\u00e4ytt\u00f6liittym\u00e4n roolia asiakasuskollisuuden muodostamisessa sek\u00e4 olennaisimpia k\u00e4ytt\u00f6liittym\u00e4n elementtej\u00e4 ja ominaisuuksia asiakasuskollisuuden kannalta. Tutkielma on toteutettu kirjallisuuskatsauksena. Verkkokaupan asiakasuskollisuuden osatekij\u00f6iksi l\u00f6ydettiin luotettavuus ja tyytyv\u00e4isyys (sis\u00e4lt\u00e4en koetun arvon, laadun ja odotusten kohtaamisen). K\u00e4ytt\u00f6liittym\u00e4n huomat-tiin olevan t\u00e4rke\u00e4 tekij\u00e4 n\u00e4iden kokemusten luomisessa, mutta sen lis\u00e4ksi uskollisuuteen vaikuttaa muun muassa (laadultaan hintaa vastaava) tuotevalikoima, asiakaspalvelu ja nopea tilauksen k\u00e4sittely. K\u00e4ytt\u00f6liittym\u00e4n osalta luottamuksen ja tyytyv\u00e4isyyden tukemiseen voidaan vaikuttaa helppok\u00e4ytt\u00f6isyyden, esteettisen graafisen suunnittelun sek\u00e4 kustomoinnin avulla. P\u00e4\u00e4periaatteita esteettisen ja helppok\u00e4ytt\u00f6isen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6liittym\u00e4n luomisessa ovat yhdenmukaisuus, hierarkia ja klassinen sek\u00e4 ekspressiivinen estetiikka. Yhdenmukaisuus muiden verkkosivujen kanssa sek\u00e4 verkkokaupan eri osioiden sis\u00e4ll\u00e4 auttaa verkkokaupan k\u00e4ytt\u00e4misess\u00e4 olemassa olevan tiedon hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4misen takia. Hierarkia, eli esimerkiksi t\u00e4rkeimpien osioiden korostaminen v\u00e4reill\u00e4 ja fonttikoolla, auttaa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4\u00e4 olennaisen tiedon nopeassa hahmottamisessa ja l\u00f6yt\u00e4misess\u00e4. Thus, creating lasting customer relationships can be challenging, but at the same time it is critical for the company's success. In this thesis, user interface is discussed as a part of customer loyalty in an online store. The purpose of the research is to help understanding the role of the user interface when forming customer loyalty, as well as the most essential elements and features of the user interface in terms of customer loyalty. The thesis was carried out as a literature review. Reliability and satisfaction (including perceived value, quality, and meeting expectations) were found to be the most important factors of customer loyalty in online shopping. The user interface was found to be an important factor in creating these experiences, but in addition loyalty is influenced by, among other things, the product selection (which corresponds to the price in terms of quality), customer service and fast order processing. Regarding the user inter-face, trust and satisfaction can be supported by ease of use, aesthetic graphic design, and customization. The main principles in creating an aesthetic and easy-to-use user interface are consistency, hierarchy, and classical and expressive aesthetics. Consistency with other websites and within the different sec-tions of the online store helps in using the online store due to the utilization of existing information. Hierarchy, that is for example highlighting the most important sections with colors and font size, helps the user to quickly understand and find essential information.
