Erityinen kiinnostuksen kohde oli uran nivelvaihe, jossa arvioitava kasvaa arvioijaksi. T\u00e4ten tutkielma pyrki kartoittamaan sek\u00e4 osallistujien omia kokemuksia arvioinnin kohteena olemisesta, ett\u00e4 heid\u00e4n n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4\u00e4n arvioijana olemisesta. Tutkimuksen yksi tavoitteista n\u00e4in ollen oli muodostaa kattavampi kuva erilaisista tekij\u00f6ist\u00e4, jotka voivat vaikuttaa arvioijaidentiteetin ja arvioinnin lukutaidon muotoutumiseen.\n\nTutkimuksen aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin puolistrukturoiduilla haastatteluilla. Haastatteluihin osallistui kolme maisterivaiheen opiskelijaa ja kolme opettajaa, jotka olivat olleet ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4 1\u20131\u00bd vuotta. Kaikki olivat joko nykyisi\u00e4 tai entisi\u00e4 Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston englannin p\u00e4\u00e4aineopiskelijoita. Ker\u00e4tty aineisto analysoitiin k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en hyv\u00e4ksi laadullista sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysia. Tutkittavien tietosuojan takaamiseksi, pseudonyymej\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin koko tutkimuksen ajan.\n\nTutkimuksen tulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 siirtym\u00e4 arvioitavasta arvioijaksi on haastava. Kaikki osallistuneet olivat jossain m\u00e4\u00e4rin ep\u00e4varmoja arvioinnin lukutaidoistaan, mik\u00e4 johtui v\u00e4h\u00e4isist\u00e4 mahdollisuuksista harjoitella sit\u00e4 opintojen aikana. Tulokset my\u00f6s osoittivat, ett\u00e4 opettajat oppivat arviointik\u00e4yt\u00e4nteit\u00e4 useista eri l\u00e4hteist\u00e4. Opettajaopiskelijoilla l\u00e4htein\u00e4 korostuivat omat arviointikokemukset ja opettajankoulutus, kun taas vastavalmistuneiden opettajien kohdalla omien arviointikokemusten lis\u00e4ksi painotus kertomuksissa oli muissa l\u00e4hteiss\u00e4. Tulokset my\u00f6s osoittivat, ett\u00e4 suurin osa haastateltavista halusi toteuttaa arviointia, joka oli varsin p\u00e4invastaista kuin heid\u00e4n omat kokemuksensa. Osallistujia oli arvioitu varsin perinteisin, kirjallisin menetelmin, kun taas he itse halusivat toteuttaa palautekeskeist\u00e4, monipuolista, osallistavaa ja l\u00e4pin\u00e4kyv\u00e4\u00e4 arviointia. Sen lis\u00e4ksi, omat arviointikokemukset vaikuttivat vahvasti siihen, mink\u00e4laisen arviointikokemuksen haastateltavat halusivat luoda oppilailleen.
