Yksi t\u00e4m\u00e4n modernin johtamistutkimuksen suunnista on Leadership-as-practice, eli johtaminen k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6in\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tavoitteena on lis\u00e4t\u00e4 k\u00e4sityst\u00e4 johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6jen ilmi\u00f6st\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkimus pyrkii parantamaan ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 asiantuntijoiden n\u00e4kemyksist\u00e4 johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 n\u00e4iss\u00e4 k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6iss\u00e4 esiintyvist\u00e4 toimijoista. Tutkimuksessa pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n vastaamaan seuraaviin tutkimuskysymyksiin: Millaisia ovat johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6t kohdeorganisaatiossa? Mit\u00e4 toimijoita johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6ihin liittyy ja miss\u00e4 johtamista tapahtuu? \nTutkimuksen keskeisen\u00e4 teoreettisena pohjana k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n Raelinin (2016) m\u00e4\u00e4ritelm\u00e4\u00e4 johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ist\u00e4, jotka Raelin on jakanut seitsem\u00e4\u00e4n aktiviteettiin: skannaukseen, signalointiin, kutomiseen, vakauttamiseen, kutsumiseen, vapauttamiseen sek\u00e4 reflektointiin. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena. Tutkimuksen empiirinen aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin viestinn\u00e4n alan organisaatiosta ja kohderyhm\u00e4n\u00e4 ovat organisaation ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t, jotka ty\u00f6skentelev\u00e4t erilaisissa teht\u00e4viss\u00e4 viestinn\u00e4n alalla. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin haastattelemalla kymment\u00e4 asiantuntijaa helmi- ja maaliskuussa 2022. Aineisto analysoitiin teoriaohjaavalla sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysimenetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4. Tulososiossa esitell\u00e4\u00e4n ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden n\u00e4kemyksist\u00e4 analysoituja aktiviteetteja, jonka pohjalta muodostettiin kokonaisk\u00e4sitys johtamisesta kohdeorganisaatiossa. \nTutkimuksen tulokset vahvistivat aikaisemman kirjallisuuden teoriaa monilta osin, mutta my\u00f6s lis\u00e4siv\u00e4t johtamisk\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6jen tulkinnan moninaisuutta. Haastateltavien kuvauksissa esiintyi tutkimuksessa aiemmin tunnistettuja \u201dpost-byrokraattisia\u201d rakenteita, mutta my\u00f6s selke\u00e4 tarve johtamisen aktiviteeteille, joiden on argumentoitu olevan tarpeettomia nykyajan tietoty\u00f6l\u00e4isten keskuudessa. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tulokset olivat my\u00f6s osin ristiriidassa tutkijoiden aikaisempien l\u00f6yd\u00f6sten kanssa muun muassa p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksenteon osalta.
