T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 uuden, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n \nyliopistossa kehitetyn HOT-potato: Hyv\u00e4ksyv\u00e4 ja joustava suhde itseen ja ruokaan \u2013\nverkkointervention yhteyksi\u00e4 osallistujien psyykkiseen hyvinvointiin sek\u00e4 psykologiseen \njoustavuuteen. Lis\u00e4ksi tarkasteltiin psykologisessa joustavuudessa tapahtuneiden muutosten yhteytt\u00e4 \npsyykkisen hyvinvoinnin muutoksiin sek\u00e4 osallistujien oppimis- ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4kokemuksia \ninterventiosta. Osallistujilta kysyttiin my\u00f6s kehitysehdotuksia ohjelmalle jatkoa varten. Tutkimuksen \naineisto (n=47) on ker\u00e4tty kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 2022. Osallistujat suorittivat kuuden viikon mittaisen HOT-potato \n-verkko-ohjelman, joka sis\u00e4lsi viikoittain vaihtuvat, s\u00e4hk\u00f6postitse l\u00e4hetetyt teemat sek\u00e4 teht\u00e4v\u00e4t. \nMittareina k\u00e4ytettiin tutkimuksen alussa sek\u00e4 lopussa SWEMWBS \u2013 kysely\u00e4 (psyykkinen \nhyvinvointi), Psy-Flexi\u00e4 (psykologinen joustavuus), FFMQ15 \u2013 kysely\u00e4 (tietoisuustaidot), BI AAQ:ta (joustava suhtautuminen omaan kehonkuvaan) sek\u00e4 loppukyselyn avoimia kysymyksi\u00e4\nohjelman aikana opituista taidoista, k\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4kokemuksista sek\u00e4 kehitysehdotuksista. Tulokset \nosoittivat, ett\u00e4 HOT-potato -ohjelman kuluessa osallistujat raportoivat psyykkisen hyvinvoinnin ja \npsykologisen joustavuuden lis\u00e4\u00e4ntymisest\u00e4 sek\u00e4 kehonkuvan joustavuuden kohentumisesta. Lis\u00e4ksi \nhe raportoivat ohjelman aikana oppineensa olemaan armollisempia itse\u00e4\u00e4n kohtaan sek\u00e4 \ntietoisuustaitoja, joita he pystyiv\u00e4t hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n el\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4\u00e4n. Tulokset osoittivat lis\u00e4ksi \npsykologisen joustavuuden muutosten olevan yhteydess\u00e4 psyykkisen hyvinvoinnin muutoksiin. The aim of this study was to investigate the \nusefulness of a new Acceptance and Commitment Therapy -based online intervention for eating \ndisorders. The purpose was to study whether the intervention called \u201cHOT-potato: An acceptable and \nflexible relationship between oneself and food\u201d would increase participants' mental well-being and \npsychological flexibility. The aim was also to investigate whether changes in psychological flexibility \nwere linked to changes in mental well-being. Further, participants' learning and user experiences of \nthe intervention as well as improvement suggestions for the program were examined. The data of the \nstudy (n = 47) were collected in the spring 2022. Participants completed a six-week HOT-potato \nonline program that included weekly changing themes and assignments. The measures used at the \nbeginning and end of the study were SWEMWBS (mental well-being), Psy-Flex (psychological \nflexibility), FFMQ15 (awareness skills), BI-AAQ (body image flexibility) and the open questions on \nuser skills and improvement suggestions. The results showed that during the HOT-potato program, \nparticipants reported an increase in mental well-being and psychological flexibility, as well as an \nimprovement in body image flexibility. They also reported that they had learned to be more merciful \nto themselves, as well as improved their awareness skills. Also changes in psychological flexibility\nwere related with changes in mental well-being.
