Sen avulla on mahdollista opettaa tulevaisuuden t\u00e4rkeit\u00e4 taitoja, kuten algoritmista ajatteluja ja ohjelmointia aktiivisissa ja fyysist\u00e4 toimintaa vaativissa opetustilanteissa. Virtuaalitodellisuus pystyy hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n fyysisen oppimisen periaatteita ja n\u00e4in valjastamaan lukuisia oppimisen hy\u00f6tyj\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoituksena onkin ottaa selv\u00e4\u00e4 fyysisten virtuaalitodellisuusaktiviteettien vaikutuksesta oppimiseen. Tutkielmassa k\u00e4sitell\u00e4\u00e4n virtuaalitodellisuuden hy\u00f6tyj\u00e4 peilaten suomalaiseen opetussuunnitelmaan sek\u00e4 fyysiseen ja teknologia-avusteiseen oppimiseen. Aikaisemmista tutkimuksista k\u00e4y ilmi, ett\u00e4 fyysiset virtuaalitodellisuusaktiviteetit voivat tehostaa oppimista ja tarjota lukuisia etuja oppijoille. Empiirisen tutkimuksen tulokset tukevat vahvasti aikaisemmissa tutkimuksissa todettuja virtuaalitodellisuuden etuja ja haittoja liittyen oppimiseen. Virtuaalitodellisuudella voidaan parantaa oppijoiden aktiivisuutta, motivaatiota ja yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4. Opetustilanteet tulee kuitenkin suunnitella ja toteuttaa harkiten, jotta vaikutukset eiv\u00e4t muutu negatiivisiksi. It offers new kinds of teaching experiences. As old teaching methods try to keep up with the technological society, virtual reality is seen as providing the right ways of teaching in the educational future. With it, it is possible to teach important skills for the future in physically active teaching situations. Skills such as computational thinking and programming. Virtual reality can take advantage of the principles of embodied learning and thus harness the many of benefits for learning. The purpose of this thesis is to find out the effects of physical virtual reality activities on learning. The thesis deals with the benefits of virtual reality, reflecting on the Finnish curriculum and embodied and technology-based learning. Previous research shows that physical virtual reality activities can enhance learning and provide numerous benefits to learners. Results from this empirical study strongly support the results from previous research regarding the pros and cons related to virtual reality in learning situations. Virtual reality can improve activity, motivation and collaboration amongst learners. However, teaching situations should be carefully planned and implemented so that the effects do not become negative.
