Tutkimuksella oli kolme tutkimuskysymyst\u00e4: 1) Ovatko yliopiston henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n digitaidot muuttuneet ja kehittyneet koronapandemian aikana ja ovatko koetut muutokset yhteydess\u00e4 ik\u00e4\u00e4n, sukupuoleen tai ty\u00f6teht\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4n? 2) Onko henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n kokemalla digitaitojen muutoksella yhteytt\u00e4 asennemuutokseen digitaalisuutta kohtaan? 3) Onko digitaidoilla tai asenteella digitaalisuutta tai et\u00e4ty\u00f6t\u00e4 kohtaan yhteytt\u00e4 teknostressin kokemiseen? Kyselytutkimukseen osallistui kaikkiaan 389 yliopiston henkil\u00f6kunnan j\u00e4sent\u00e4. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin s\u00e4hk\u00f6isen\u00e4 kyselyn\u00e4 joulukuusta 2020 tammikuuhun 2021, ja siin\u00e4 pyydettiin retrospektiivisesti arvioimaan oman osaamisen ja asenteen muuttumista digitaalisuutta kohtaan. Tulosten mukaan 1) digitaaliset taidot kasvoivat tilastollisesti eritt\u00e4in merkitsev\u00e4sti. I\u00e4ll\u00e4 tai ty\u00f6teht\u00e4v\u00e4ll\u00e4 ei ollut tilastollista yhteytt\u00e4 digitaitojen muutokseen, mutta sukupuolella oli: naisten kokema taitomuutos oli suurempi; 2) asennemuutos digitaalisuutta kohtaan oli tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4, mutta ik\u00e4, sukupuoli tai ty\u00f6teht\u00e4v\u00e4 eiv\u00e4t olleet siihen yhteydess\u00e4. Tulosten mukaan taitomuutoksella ja asennemuutoksella oli tilastollisesti eritt\u00e4in merkitsev\u00e4 keskin\u00e4inen yhteys; 3) teknostressin kokemisella oli tilastollisesti eritt\u00e4in merkitsev\u00e4 yhteys digitaitoihin: mit\u00e4 paremmat digitaidot tutkittavalla oli, sit\u00e4 v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n h\u00e4n koki teknostressi\u00e4. My\u00f6s asenteella digitaalisuutta ja et\u00e4ty\u00f6t\u00e4 kohtaan oli tilastollisesti eritt\u00e4in merkitsev\u00e4 yhteys koettuun teknostressiin: my\u00f6nteisemm\u00e4n asenteen kokeminen oli yhteydess\u00e4 v\u00e4h\u00e4isemp\u00e4\u00e4n teknostressin kokemiseen. Teknostressin kokeminen oli yhteydess\u00e4 ty\u00f6teht\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4n, mutta ei ik\u00e4\u00e4n tai sukupuoleen. Henkil\u00f6st\u00f6n digitaitoja ja niiden kehittymist\u00e4 tulee tukea sek\u00e4 luoda positiivista ty\u00f6kulttuuria digitaalisuutta kohtaan. Digitaalisuuden kehittymisen huomattiin noudattavan aikaisempia teorioita teknologian hyv\u00e4ksymismalleista sek\u00e4 teknologian kesytt\u00e4misest\u00e4. Koska sek\u00e4 digitaidot ett\u00e4 asenne digitaalisuutta kohtaan olivat yhteydess\u00e4 my\u00f6s teknostressin kokemiseen, voidaan p\u00e4\u00e4tell\u00e4, ett\u00e4 digitaitojen vahvistaminen ja positiivisen asenneilmapiirin luominen v\u00e4hent\u00e4v\u00e4t teknostressin kokemista ja n\u00e4in ollen parantavat my\u00f6s ty\u00f6hyvinvointia.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The aim of this thesis was to study the digital skills, the attitude towards digital skills and the technostress of the staff of the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, before the corona pandemic (spring 2020) and during its first wave (Dec 2020 to Jan 2021). The study had three main research questions: 1) Did the staff members\u2019 digital skills change and develop during the corona pandemic and were the possible changes related to participants\u2019 age, gender, or work assignment? 2) Were the perceived changes in digital skills linked to a change in attitudes towards digital work? 3) Are the digital skills or attitude towards digital or remote work related to experiencing technostress? A total of 389 university staff members participated in the study. The data was collected as an electronic survey in December\u00ac\u00ac 2020 to January 2021. The participants were asked to retrospectively assess the change in their digital competence and attitude towards digitality. The results showed that: 1) The staff members\u2019 digital skills showed a statistically highly significant improvement. The participants\u2019 age or work assignment did not exhibit a statistical link to a change in digital skills, but gender did; women reported a more significant change in their digital skills. 2) There was a statistically significant change in the participants\u2019 attitude towards digitality, and it was not related to their age, gender, or job status. The results also indicated that there was a statistically highly significant relationship between skill change and attitude change. 3) The results showed that the experience of technostress had a statistically highly significant relationship with digital skills: the better the digital skills of an individual were, the less they experienced technostress. Attitude towards digitalization and remote work also had a statistically highly significant association with perceived technostress: a more positive attitude was associated with experiencing less technostress. The experience of technostress was related to the participants\u2019 work assignments, but not to their age or gender. The digital skills of personnel and their development must be supported and a positive work culture towards digitalization must be created. The development of digitalization appears to follow previous theories of technology acceptance models and technology domestication.
