Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on lis\u00e4t\u00e4 tietoa v\u00e4hitt\u00e4iskaupan digitaalisten palveluiden mahdollisista vastuullisuusarvoa tukevista kokemuksista. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan vastuullisuusarvojen tukemista palvelukeskeisen logiikan linssin l\u00e4pi ja esiin nousee my\u00f6s kokemuksia vastuullisuusarvojen yhteistuhoamisesta. Tutkimuksen empiirisess\u00e4 osiossa hy\u00f6dynnet\u00e4\u00e4n laadullisen tutkimuksen menetelmi\u00e4: kriittisten tapahtumien menetelm\u00e4\u00e4 sek\u00e4 analyysissa temaattista analyysimenetelm\u00e4\u00e4. Analyysissa l\u00f6ydet\u00e4\u00e4n 22 teemaa, joiden sis\u00e4ll\u00e4 tunnistetaan 46 kriittist\u00e4 kokemusta. Kokemuksista voidaan huomata 39 vastuullisuusarvoja yhteisluovaa ja 7 vastuullisuusarvoja yhteistuhoavaa kokemusta v\u00e4hitt\u00e4iskaupan digitaalisissa palveluissa. Tulokset esitell\u00e4\u00e4n viitekehyksess\u00e4, jonka mukaan tulokset jaetaan yrityksen arvolupausten mukaisiin dimensioihin. Tuloksista havaitaan, ett\u00e4 verkkokaupan vastuullinen valikoima, her\u00e4teostosten ja h\u00e4vikin v\u00e4heneminen, verkkokaupan mahdollistama kontaktiton ostosten teko, tuotetietojen n\u00e4kyvyys, ty\u00f6llist\u00e4v\u00e4 vaikutus sek\u00e4 verkossa toimivien palveluiden paperittomuus tukevat vastuullisuusarvojen yhteisluomista. Vastuullisuusarvojen yhteisluomista tukevina n\u00e4htiin sovelluksen osalta sen tarjoama data, edut, s\u00e4hk\u00f6iset kuitit, helppok\u00e4ytt\u00f6isyys sek\u00e4 bonusten k\u00e4ytt\u00f6. My\u00f6s viestinn\u00e4n osalta digitaalisten palveluiden k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n saatavissa oleva tuki sek\u00e4 kotimaisten tuotteiden mainostaminen palveluissa toimivat vastuullisuusarvojen yhteisluontia tukevana. Fyysisess\u00e4 kaupassa vastuullisuusarvojen yhteisluomista tukevia kokemuksia olivat valikoimasta l\u00f6ytyv\u00e4t vastuulliset tuotteet, k\u00e4siskannerin k\u00e4ytt\u00f6, kestokassien selke\u00e4 esillepano itsepalvelukassoilla ja itsepalvelukassojen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6. Vastuullisuusarvoja yhteistuhoavina kokemuksina n\u00e4hd\u00e4\u00e4n etujen lis\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4 turha kulutus ja osittain ei-vastuulliset edut, vaikeasti l\u00f6ydett\u00e4viss\u00e4 olevat edut, ettei etukorttia saanut sovellukseen, vastavuoroisen viestinn\u00e4n puuttuminen ja turha kuittipaperin k\u00e4ytt\u00f6. Teorian kannalta tutkimus tarjoaa t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 tietoa siit\u00e4, miten kyseinen viitekehys soveltuu aiheen tutkimukseen ja miten digitaalisissa palveluissa tapahtuu vastuullisuusarvojen yhteisluomista ja yhteistuhoamista. Tutkimus osoittaa my\u00f6s mit\u00e4 v\u00e4hitt\u00e4iskaupan toimijat voivat tehd\u00e4 vastuullisempien kulutusvalintojen tukemiseksi ja toisaalta tutkimus edesauttaa vastuullisuutta tukevien digitaalisten palveluiden suunnittelua.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "This master\u2019s thesis explores the phenomena of sustainability value co-creation in the retail industry through digital services. The study aims to achieve an understanding how digital services may be used for co-creating sustainability value in the retail industry. As a foundation this study uses the service-dominant logic lens to investigate the topic and thus, value co-destruction experiences also emerge. The empirical part of the study adopts qualitative methods, as in the critical incident technique and thematic data analysis method. As a result, the study identifies 46 critical experiences emerging from 22 themes. The 46 critical incidents include 39 positive experiences indicating potential sustainability value co-creation, and seven negative experiences indicating potential sustainability value co-destruction. Findings are presented in a framework and divided by value propositions dimensions of the retailer. Presented findings indicate that the sustainability value co-creation in the online store includes a broad selection of sustainable products, reducing impulse purchases and managing food waste, contactless shopping through online store, visibility of product information, impact in employment, and paperless service online. Sustainability value co-creation in the application consists of data offered by the mobile application, offers, electronic receipts, easiness of use, and use of bonuses. Sustainability value co-creation regarding the communication includes availability of digital support and promoting domestic products. Physical store and the sustainability value co-creation there consists of sustainable products in the selection, using portable scanner, reusable bags in a self-service counter, and the use of self-service counters. As for the sustainability value co-destruction experiences, findings include offers that promote unsustainable products and encourage unnecessary consumption behavior, offers that are hard to locate, unable to use bonus card in the application, the lack of two-way dialogue, and unnecessary use of paper receipts. The study contributes by validating the framework and adding to the knowledge of how digital services support sustainability value co-creation.
