This bachelor’s thesis is a literature review focused on the use of artificial intelligence technologies within the field of aviation. In the paper we study the use of machine learning models in forecasting within the aviation context and the use of intelligent technologies in assisting the pilots and in air traffic management. The paper also takes a look into the future and the possibilities in implementing AI in aviation.
