T\u00e4t\u00e4 kehityst\u00e4 on vauhdittanut erityisesti koronapandemia, joka on pakottanut muun muassa suomalaiset kunnat ja koulut j\u00e4rjest\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n opetuksensa ajoittain et\u00e4- ja hybridiopetuksena. Teknologiaa voidaankin t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tapauksessa pit\u00e4\u00e4 opetuksen mahdollistajana, sill\u00e4 kouluja ei tarvinnut sulkea sen ansiosta edes maailmanlaajuisen pandemian ja kriisin aikana. Kuitenkin teknologian lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyminen koulumaailmassa ja erityisesti et\u00e4opetuksen j\u00e4rjest\u00e4minen ovat aiheuttaneet opettajille teknologian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n liittyv\u00e4\u00e4 stressi\u00e4 eli teknostressi\u00e4, sek\u00e4 luoneet uudenlaisen ja modernin uhan heid\u00e4n ty\u00f6hyvinvoinnilleen. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 pro gradu -tutkielmassa tutkittiin, millaiset tekij\u00e4t aiheuttavat opettajille teknostressi\u00e4 ja millaisia teknostressin oireita opettajat kokevat. Lis\u00e4ksi t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa selvitettiin, miten opettajien kokema teknostressi mahdollisesti vaikuttaa heid\u00e4n ty\u00f6hyvinvointiinsa. Opettajien teknostressi\u00e4 tutkittaessa on otettu huomioon my\u00f6s koronapandemian aiheuttama l\u00e4hiopetuksesta et\u00e4opetukseen siirtyminen. Tutkimuksen tulokset osoittavat, ett\u00e4 opettajille teknostressin kokeminen on tuttua. Kuitenkin sen voimakkuus vaihtelee niin opettajasta kuin olosuhteistakin riippuen. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkimuksessa todettiin, ett\u00e4 suuri osa opettajista kokee teknostressin vaikuttavan heid\u00e4n ty\u00f6hyvinvointiinsa negatiivisella tavalla. Teknostressin tutkiminen eri n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmista sek\u00e4 eri ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6iss\u00e4 on t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4, sill\u00e4 se mahdollistaa teknostressin ja sen vaikutusten huomioimisen entist\u00e4 paremmin niin organisaatio- kuin yksil\u00f6tasollakin. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus lis\u00e4\u00e4 ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 teknostressist\u00e4 erityisesti opettajien n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Lis\u00e4ksi t\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus tarjoaa ajankohtaisen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulman koronapandemian vaikutuksista teknostressin kokemiseen liittyen. Opettajien kokemaa teknostressi\u00e4 ja erityisesti sen vaikutusta heid\u00e4n ty\u00f6hyvinvointiinsa on tutkittu toistaiseksi hyvin v\u00e4h\u00e4n. This development has been accelerated in particular by the corona pandemic, which has forced Finnish municipalities and schools, among others, to organize their teaching from time to time as distance and hybrid education. In this case, technology can be seen as an enabler of education, as it meant that schools did not have to close even during the global pandemic and crisis. However, the rise of technology in the school world, and in particular the provision of distance education, has created a new and modern threat to teachers' well-being at work and has caused them to experience the stress associated with the use of technology, or technostress. This thesis investigated the factors that cause teachers to experience technostress and the symptoms of technostress experienced by teachers. In addition, this thesis explored the potential impact of technostress experienced by teachers on their occupational wellbeing. The shift from face-to-face to distance learning caused by the corona pandemic has also been taken into account when investigating teachers' technostress. The results of the study show that teachers are familiar with the experience of technostress. However, its intensity varies depending on both the teacher and the circumstances. The study also found that a high proportion of teachers perceive technostress as having a negative impact on their well-being at work. Exploring technostress from different perspectives and in different settings is important as it will allow for a better understanding of technostress and its effects at both organizational and individual level. This research will increase our understanding of technostress, especially from the perspective of teachers. In addition, this study provides a timely perspective on the impact of the corona pandemic on the experience of technostress. So far, very little research has been conducted on teachers' experience of technostress and in particular its impact on their occupational wellbeing.
