Tutkimuksessamme tarkastelemme dysleksian tason muutosta pitkitt\u00e4isasetelmassa lapsuudesta aikuisuuteen. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkimuksessa selvitet\u00e4\u00e4n toiminnanohjauksen yhteytt\u00e4 dysleksian tasoon ja sen mahdolliseen muutokseen. Tarkastelu keskittyy toiminnanohjauksen osa-alueista inhibitioon, toiminnasta toiseen vaihtamiseen sek\u00e4 kognitiiviseen kontrolliin. Aiemmat tutkimukset ovat osoittaneet n\u00e4ill\u00e4 taidoilla olevan mahdollisesti yhteytt\u00e4 dysleksian tasoon. \nTutkimukseen osallistui 30 tutkittavaa, joiden lapsuudessa todetun dysleksian muutosta seurattiin pitkitt\u00e4isasetelmassa, sek\u00e4 20 aikuisuuden mittapisteess\u00e4 tutkittua kontrollia. Lapsuusajan dysleksiaryhm\u00e4n lukutaidon muutosta tarkasteltiin ristiintaulukoinnilla ja \ud835\udf86\u00b2 -testill\u00e4. Lapsuusajan dysleksiaryhm\u00e4n ja kontrollien, sek\u00e4 dysleksiaryhm\u00e4st\u00e4 muodostettujen S\u00e4ilynyt dysleksia- ja Helpottanut dysleksia -ryhmien v\u00e4lisi\u00e4 eroja kognitiivisessa kontrollissa, inhibitiossa ja toiminnasta toiseen vaihtamisessa tarkasteltiin Mann-Whitneyn U-testill\u00e4.\nLapsuusajan dysleksiaryhm\u00e4\u00e4n kuuluneista yli kolmasosalla (36,7 %) dysleksia oli helpottunut niin, ett\u00e4 he eiv\u00e4t aikuisuudessa t\u00e4ytt\u00e4neet en\u00e4\u00e4 dysleksialle asetettuja kriteerej\u00e4. Vastaavasti yli puolella (63,3 %) dysleksia oli s\u00e4ilynyt. Lapsuuden dysleksian taso ei vaikuttanut sen helpottamiseen tai s\u00e4ilymiseen aikuisuudessa. Tutkittavien ja kontrollien v\u00e4lill\u00e4 ei ollut tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4\u00e4 eroa toiminnanohjauksen osataidoissa. Sen sijaan kognitiivinen kontrolli n\u00e4ytti olevan yhteydess\u00e4 dysleksian s\u00e4ilymiseen tai helpottamiseen lapsuusajan dysleksiaryhm\u00e4n sis\u00e4ll\u00e4. Vastaavaa eroa ei ollut inhibitiossa tai vaihtamisessa.\nTutkimuksemme perusteella vaikuttaisi silt\u00e4, ett\u00e4 toiminnanohjauksen korkeamman tason toiminnoista kognitiivinen kontrolli on yhteydess\u00e4 dysleksian helpottamiseen, mutta samanlaista yhteytt\u00e4 ei voida t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen mukaan tunnistaa alemman tason toiminnanohjauksen taidoista, kuten inhibitiosta ja vaihtamisesta.
