He my\u00f6s kokevat jatkuvasti erilaisia tunteita opetuksen aikana. N\u00e4ill\u00e4 tekij\u00f6ill\u00e4 on suuri vaikutus opettajien ty\u00f6hyvinvointiin ja jaksamiseen. Oppilaiden tunteita sek\u00e4 koettua p\u00e4tevyytt\u00e4 oppitunneilla on tutkittu reilusti, mutta vastaava opettajiin kohdistunut tutkimus on ollut v\u00e4h\u00e4ist\u00e4. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 liikuntaa opettavien opettajien koetun opetusp\u00e4tevyyden vaikutusta oppituntien aikaisiin tunteisiin (viihtyminen, suuttumus ja ahdistuneisuus) sek\u00e4 sukupuolen, pohjakoulutuksen ja ty\u00f6kokemuksen tuomia eroja koettuun opetusp\u00e4tevyyteen sek\u00e4 tunteisiin. Tutkimuksen teoreettisessa osassa k\u00e4siteltiin tunteita, liikunnanopettajan ty\u00f6t\u00e4, tunteita opettajan ty\u00f6ss\u00e4, koettua p\u00e4tevyytt\u00e4 ja min\u00e4pystyvyytt\u00e4, koettua p\u00e4tevyytt\u00e4 opetusty\u00f6ss\u00e4 sek\u00e4 tunteiden vaikutusta koettuun p\u00e4tevyyteen. \n \nTutkimuksen kohteena olivat peruskoulussa liikuntaa opettavat opettajat. Tutkimukseen osallistui 288 opettajaa, joista 108 oli miehi\u00e4, 178 naisia ja kaksi ei halunnut sanoa sukupuoltaan. Tutkimukseen vastanneet opettajat ty\u00f6skenteliv\u00e4t Suomen isoimmissa kaupungeissa. Tutkimuksen aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin kyselyll\u00e4, mink\u00e4 pohjana oli Frenzelin ym. (2016) kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4 Teacher Emotion Scale -mittari ja tulokset analysoitiin m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisesti SPSS-ohjelmalla korrelaatiokertoimilla, lineaarisella regressioanalyysilla, yksisuuntaisella varianssianalyysill\u00e4 sek\u00e4 riippumattomien otosten t-testill\u00e4. \n\nKoetulla opetusp\u00e4tevyydell\u00e4 todettiin olevan yhteys tunteisiin. Koettu p\u00e4tevyys selitti 22 % viihtymist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 ahdistuneisuutta ja 14 % suuttumusta. Sukupuolella ei ollut suurta eroa, mutta naiset viihtyiv\u00e4t hieman miehi\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n oppitunneilla, kun taas miehet kokivat enemm\u00e4n suuttumusta sek\u00e4 koettua p\u00e4tevyytt\u00e4. Pohjakoulutuksella ei ollut merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 vaikutusta tunteiden kannalta, mutta liikuntatieteiden maisterit kokivat enemm\u00e4n koettua p\u00e4tevyytt\u00e4 kuin kasvatustieteiden maisterit. My\u00f6sk\u00e4\u00e4n ty\u00f6kokemuksella ei ollut merkitsev\u00e4\u00e4 vaikutusta koettuun opetusp\u00e4tevyyteen tai koettuihin tunteisiin.\n\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen perusteella voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 koettu p\u00e4tevyys ja oppitunnin aikaiset eri tunteet ovat yhteydess\u00e4 toisiinsa. Parempi koettu opetusp\u00e4tevyys edesauttaa positiivisten tunteiden kokemusta opetuksessa. My\u00f6s tunteilla on vaikutusta koettuun p\u00e4tevyyteen, jolloin positiiviset tunnekokemukset nostavat ja negatiiviset tunnekokemukset laskevat opetusp\u00e4tevyytt\u00e4. They also continuously experience different emotions during teaching. These factors have substantial effect on teachers\u2019 well-being and coping at work. Students\u2019 emotions and perceived competence during lessons has been researched comprehensively, but the research of these issues among teachers has been lesser. The aim of this research was to examine the effect of perceived teaching competence on emotions (enjoyment, anger and anxiety) during lessons, and the effect of gender, education and work experience on the perceived competence and emotions among those teachers who teach physical activity. The theoretical part of this research discusses emotions, the work of PE teachers, emotions in teacher\u2019s work, perceived competence and self-efficacy, perceived competence in teaching and the effect of emotions in perceived competence.\n\nThe subject of this research was teachers who teach physical education in a comprehensive school. There were 288 teachers who participated in this research, of whom 108 were men, 178 were women and two participants did not want to specify their gender. The participants worked in the biggest cities of Finland. The data for the research was collected with a survey, which was based on a Teacher Emotions Scales developed by Frenzel et al. (2016) and the results were analysed quantitatively by using SPSS-program correlation coefficient, linear regression, one-way analysis of variance and independent samples t-test.\n\nThe research found that perceived teaching competence is linked to emotions. Perceived teaching competence explained 22-% of enjoyment and 14-% of anger. There were no big differences between genders, but women were found to enjoy lessons slightly more than men, whereas men experienced more anger and perceived teaching competence. Education was not found to be a substantial factor relative to emotions, but those with a degree of Master of Science (Sport and Health Sciences) experienced more perceived teaching competence than those with a degree of Master of Arts (Education). Likewise, work experience was not found to have a substantive effect on perceived teaching competence or experienced emotions.\n\nOn the bases of this research can be stated, that perceived teaching competence and emotions during lessons are interrelated. Higher perceived teaching competence promotes experiencing positive emotions during teaching. Emotions also have an effect on perceived teaching competence, for positive emotions increase and negative emotions decrease perceived teaching competence.
