Tavoitteena oli lis\u00e4t\u00e4 tiet\u00e4myst\u00e4 emotionaalisen ja kognitiivisen koulun kiinnittymisen suhteesta kiusaamiseen, sosioekonomiseen taustaan ja sukupuoleen. Tut-kimuksen aineisto oli ker\u00e4tty oppilailta sek\u00e4 heid\u00e4n vanhemmiltaan itsearviointilomakkeilla osana Alkuportaat -tutkimusta (n=941). Tutkimuksen analyysi toteutettiin hierarkkisella regressioanalyysilla. \nVanhempien korkein koulutusaste selitti emotionaalisen koulun kiinnittymisen vaihtelua tyt\u00f6ill\u00e4 poikia paremmin molemmilla luokilla. Kiusaamisrooleilla oli toisistaan poikkeavia yhteyksi\u00e4 koulun kiinnittymisen molempiin ulottuvuuksiin. Samanaikaisesti kiusaajana ja kiusattuna oleminen liittyi vertaisryhm\u00e4\u00e4 heikompaan emotionaaliseen ja kognitiiviseen kouluun kiinnitty-miseen molemmilla luokilla ja sukupuolilla. Kiusatuksi joutuminen heijastui erityisesti heikompaan emotionaaliseen kiinnittymiseen molemmilla luokilla. Kiusaaminen oli keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin vahvemmin yhteydess\u00e4 tytt\u00f6jen kuin poikien kouluun kiinnittymisen molempiin ulottuvuuksiin. Kiusaavilla pojilla emotionaalinen ja kognitiivinen kiinnittyminen ei eronnut niist\u00e4 oppilaista, jotka eiv\u00e4t osallistuneet kiusaamiseen.\nKiusaamisen todettiin olevan riskitekij\u00e4 sek\u00e4 emotionaaliseen ett\u00e4 kognitiiviseen kouluun kiinnittymiseen molemmilla sukupuolilla. Vanhempien koulutustaso n\u00e4ytti olevan suojaava tekij\u00e4 varsinkin kognitiivisen koulun kiinnittymisen osalta.
