Esimiesten n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 ty\u00f6hyvinvoinnin johtamisesta ja sen kehitt\u00e4misest\u00e4 selvitettiin kuvaamalla organisaation ty\u00f6hyvinvoinnin nykytilannetta. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkittiin esimiehen omaa ty\u00f6hyvinvointia, tuen tarvetta ja riitt\u00e4vyyden kokemuksia. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena. Tutkimuksen kohteena oli kahdeksan esimiest\u00e4 teknologiateollisuuden alalla toimivasta suomalaisesta suuryrityksest\u00e4. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin puolistrukturoitujen teemahaastattelujen avulla. Aineiston analysointimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin laadullista sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysi\u00e4 ja tutkimuksen teoreettisen viitekehyksen muodostivat ty\u00f6hyvinvointi ja ty\u00f6hyvinvoinnin johtaminen. \nTy\u00f6hyvinvointi oli esimiehille jaksamista niin ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 kuin vapaa-ajalla. Sopiva ty\u00f6nkuormitus ja merkityksellinen ty\u00f6 koettiin t\u00e4rkein\u00e4 voimavaroja lis\u00e4\u00e4vin\u00e4 tekij\u00f6in\u00e4. Ty\u00f6hyvinvoinnin johtamiseen yhdistettiin muun muassa hyv\u00e4t vuorovaikutustaidot ja tavoitteiden selke\u00e4 jalkauttaminen. Esimiehen rooli ty\u00f6hyvinvoinnin johtamisessa n\u00e4htiin eritt\u00e4in t\u00e4rke\u00e4n\u00e4. Oikeudenmukainen kohtelu, hyv\u00e4 ty\u00f6n organisointi ja ty\u00f6nteon edellytysten varmistaminen n\u00e4htiin esimiehen t\u00e4rkeimpin\u00e4 teht\u00e4vin\u00e4. N\u00e4ill\u00e4 tekij\u00f6ill\u00e4 on selv\u00e4 yhteys riitt\u00e4vyyden tunteen kehittymiseen ja sit\u00e4 kautta parempaan ty\u00f6hyvinvointiin. Ty\u00f6hyvinvoinnin johtamiseen esimiehet kaipasivat lis\u00e4\u00e4 tukea ylemm\u00e4lt\u00e4 johdolta, omalta esimiehelt\u00e4 ja HR:lt\u00e4. \nTy\u00f6hyvinvoinnin johtamisen pit\u00e4isi olla vahvemmin osa toimintastrategiaa, jotta se huomioitaisiin paremmin kaikessa organisaation toiminnassa.
