Lis\u00e4ksi tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, kuinka mallin mukainen opetus vaikutti oppilaiden \nmotivaatioon ja yhteenkuuluvuuteen liikuntatunneilla ja kuinka oppilaat kokivat opettajan tuen.\nTutkimuksessa oli mukana interventio- ja kontrolliryhm\u00e4t ja tutkimuksessa selvitettiin,\nerosivatko kokemukset sukupuolten v\u00e4lill\u00e4.\nTutkimus oli luonteeltaan monimenetelm\u00e4inen ja aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin Webropol-kyselylomakkeella kahden eri koulun kahdeksasluokkalaisista oppilaista (n=57). \nTutkimuksessa k\u00e4ytettiin kontrolli- ja interventioryhmi\u00e4. Interventioryhm\u00e4n oppilaille \nsuoritettiin kuuden viikon interventiojakso, jonka aikana heille toteutettiin CDG-mallin \nmukaista opetusta. CDG-mallin toteutuksessa k\u00e4ytettiin oppilaiden Move! -mittaustuloksia. \nOppilaat valitsivat mittaustulosten perusteella oman kehitett\u00e4v\u00e4n ominaisuuden, jonka \nperusteella heid\u00e4t jaettiin ryhmiin. Ryhmiss\u00e4 oppilaat suunnittelivat omaa ominaisuutta \nkehitt\u00e4v\u00e4n ohjelman. Kontrolliryhm\u00e4n oppilaille suoritettiin niin sanottua perinteisemp\u00e4\u00e4 \nliikunnanopetusta.\nM\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llinen aineisto analysoitiin IBM SPSS Statistics 26 \u2013ohjelmaa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4. Laadullisen \naineiston avoimet kysymykset analysoitiin sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysin avulla luokittelemalla vastaukset \nala- ja yl\u00e4luokkiin sek\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4luokkaan. Laadullisesta aineistosta etsittiin sek\u00e4 \nsamankaltaisuuksia, ett\u00e4 erilaisuuksia.\nTutkimustulosten perusteella voidaan sanoa, ett\u00e4 oppilasl\u00e4ht\u00f6isen opetusmenetelm\u00e4n\nmukaisella liikunnanopetuksella pystyt\u00e4\u00e4n tukemaan oppilaiden itseohjautuvuutta ja sis\u00e4ist\u00e4 \nmotivaatiota mahdollistamalla oppilaille autonomian, koetun p\u00e4tevyyden ja sosiaalisen \nyhteenkuuluvuuden tunnetta Decin ja Ryanin (1985) itseohjautuvuusteorian mukaisesti. \nOpetusmenetelm\u00e4n hy\u00f6dyt n\u00e4kyiv\u00e4t oppilaiden lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyneen\u00e4 vapaa-ajan liikkumisena.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The purpose of this study was to explore if CDG -model teaching increased students\u00b4 \nexperiences of autonomy and self-determination in physical education and leisure.\nAdditionally, the aim was to explore how the model-based teaching affected students\u00b4 \nmotivation and cohesion in physical education lessons, how the students experienced teacher\u00b4s \nsupport. The study involved intervention and control groups and the study examined whether \nexperiences differed between the sexes.\nThe study method was multidisciplinary, and the data were collected the data were collected \nfrom eight-graders in two different schools (n = 57) by using a Webropol questionnaire. Control \nand intervention groups were used in the study. For the intervention group students, the CDG \nmodel based teaching was used together with the students\u2019 Move! -measurement results during \na six-week period. Based on the measurement results, the students selected a physical feature \nof their own to be developed. Based on the students\u00b4 selection they were divided into groups, \nwhere they designed a program to develop that specific physical feature. The students in the \ncontrol group were given a so-called more traditional physical education.\nQuantitative data were analyzed by using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The open-ended questions \nof the qualitative material were analyzed by means of content analysis and classifying the \nanswers into subcategories, upper, and main categories. Both similarities and differences were \nexamined in the qualitative responses.\nBased on the research results, it can be concluded that physical education according to the pupil \noriented teaching method CDG -model is able to support students' self-determination and \ninternal motivation by enabling the students to feel autonomy, perceived competence, and social \ncohesion according to Deci\u00b4s and Ryan's theory of self-determination.
