Teknologia on osana nuorten el\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4 ja l\u00e4hes jokaisella oppilaalla on jonkinlainen \u00e4lylaite k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4. Teknologiaa pidet\u00e4\u00e4n my\u00f6s nuorten yhten\u00e4 suurimmista inaktiivisuuden aiheuttajista. Liikunnanopettajilta vaaditaan monenlaista osaamista ja tulevaisuudessa teknologian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 opetuksen apuv\u00e4lineen\u00e4 tulee mahdollisesti lis\u00e4\u00e4ntym\u00e4\u00e4n. Liikuntateknologian k\u00e4ytt\u00e4minen opetuksessa apuv\u00e4lineen\u00e4 vaatii teknologiaan perehtymist\u00e4 ja siihen liittyvien mahdollisuuksien kartoittamista. \n \nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 liikunnanopettajaopiskelijoiden asenteita liikuntateknologiaa kohtaan sek\u00e4 koettuja valmiuksia k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 liikuntateknologiaa apuv\u00e4lineen\u00e4 liikunnanopetuksessa. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin my\u00f6s liikunnanopettajaopiskelijoiden mielipiteit\u00e4 siit\u00e4, miten liikuntateknologiaan perehtymist\u00e4 olisi hyv\u00e4 lis\u00e4t\u00e4 heid\u00e4n opintoihinsa. Liikuntateknologiaan kuuluu \u00e4lylaitteet, eli \u00e4lypuhelimet sek\u00e4 tabletit, liikuntateknologiset sovellukset, mitta- ja kuvauslaitteet sek\u00e4 muut laitteet. Tutkimus toteutettiin m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisen\u00e4 tutkimuksena Webropol\u2500palvelussa tehdyn kyselylomakkeen avulla ja vastauksia saatiin 74. Tutkimuksen tuloksia analysoitiin SPSS-tilastointiohjelman antamien keskiarvojen, keskihajonnan, T-testien sek\u00e4 korrelaatiokertoimien kautta. \n \nTulosten perusteella liikunnanopettajaopiskelijoiden asenteet liikuntateknologiaa kohtaan olivat vaihtelevat. Kun tutkittiin liikunnanopettajaopiskelijoiden koettuja valmiuksia k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 liikuntateknologiaa apuv\u00e4lineen\u00e4 opetuksessa, oli tuloksissa n\u00e4ht\u00e4viss\u00e4 se, ett\u00e4 opiskelijat tiesiv\u00e4t, mutta keskiarvollisesti kokivat heikommin osaavansa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 teknologiaa apuv\u00e4lineen\u00e4 opetuksessa. Opiskelijat eiv\u00e4t kokeneet liikuntateknologian olevan t\u00e4rke\u00e4 ja motivoiva tekij\u00e4 eiv\u00e4tk\u00e4 kokeneet sen sis\u00e4llytt\u00e4mist\u00e4 liikunnanopetukseen t\u00e4rke\u00e4n\u00e4. Vastaajat eiv\u00e4t my\u00f6sk\u00e4\u00e4n olleet sit\u00e4 mielt\u00e4, ett\u00e4 ruutuajan lis\u00e4\u00e4minen liikunnassa olisi ristiriidassa terveystiedossa opetettavien asioiden kanssa. Sen sijaan opettajaopiskelijat kokivat, ett\u00e4 liikuntateknologiaa tulisi sis\u00e4llytt\u00e4\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n opettajaopiskelijoiden opintoihin oman kurssin muodossa, jossa k\u00e4yd\u00e4\u00e4n l\u00e4pi liikuntateknologian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 eri oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6iss\u00e4.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "Physical education teacher\u2019s future will be large studentgroups, challenges in giving spesific feedback to everyone, individualizing the teaching and increasing inactivity amongst youth. They are trying to find solutions to these challenges. One solution could be to include technology in physical education. Technology is part of young people's lives and almost everyone has some kind of smartphone in use. Technology is also considered to be one of the most common reasons for inactivity amongst youth. Using sport technology as a tool in teaching requires that teachers study it and get familiar in using it. \n \nThe aim of this study was to find out physical education teacher student\u2019s readiness in using sports technology as a tool in teaching. The study also gave information about sports pedagogy teachers studends opinions whether to increase sports technology using in their own studies or not. Sports technology means all kinds of smart devices such as smart phones and tablets, sport and fitness applications, measuring and filming equipment and other devices. Research was implemented as quantitative study and the survey was made in Webropol.fi. Total number of answers was 74. The results were analyzed with SPSS analysis software using means, standard deviations, T-tests and correlations. \n \nThe results indicated that P.E. teacher students' attitudes varied towards sports technology. When asked about the readiness in using sports technology as a tool in teaching, the students felt that they know how to use it as a tool in general but more specific use was less familiar. The students didn\u2019t think that sport technology is important and a key factor for motivating young people. P.E teacher students didn\u2019t think that sport technology should be included in P.E. The results indicated that P.E. teacher students didn\u2019t think that increased screen time in P.E would have a conflict with health sciences in school.
