Tässä tutkielmassa analysoitiin matkapuhelinten mobiiliverkkodataa Power BI:n avulla. Tutkielmassa pyrittiin selvittämään, millaisia analysointimenetelmiä voidaan käyttää ihmisten liikkuvuusindeksin määrittämiseen. Teoriaosuudessa tarkasteltiin erilaisia tapoja kerätä ihmisten liikkumisdataa sekä esiteltiin aiempia tutkimustuloksia ja tapoja analysoida liikkumisdataa. Käytännön osuudessa kehitettiin malli paikkatietodatan analysointiin. Lisäksi suoritettiin muutamia analyyseja ja arvioitiin niiden soveltuvuutta ihmisten liikkuvuuden mittaamiseen. Tutkielmassa analysoitu data oli postinumerotasoista, mikä vaikutti tulosten tarkkuuteen. Mobile phones enable mass tracking of crowds precisely and in real-time. This thesis analyzes the mobile phone network data using Power BI for analysis. The goal of this thesis is to find which analysis methods can be used to measure people mobility index. Theoretical section presents different ways to collect mobility data, previous research results in this area and ways to analyze mobility data. Practical section presents a model to analyze geospatial data. In addition the data was analyzed with various methods and their applicability was evaluated for determining people’s mobility. The data was limited to postal areas, which affected to reliability of results.
