Digitalisoituvassa ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4 itsens\u00e4 johtamisen taitoja korostetaan. Ty\u00f6 vaatii yh\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n itsen\u00e4ist\u00e4 ty\u00f6otetta erityisesti asiantuntijatasolla toimivien henkil\u00f6iden osalta. Ty\u00f6teht\u00e4vien kognitiiviset vaatimukset liittyv\u00e4t tiedon k\u00e4sittelyyn, sen tulkintaan, \nmuistamiseen ja ongelmanratkaisukykyihin. Kognitiivisen ergonomian avulla \npyrit\u00e4\u00e4n huomioimaan ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 kohdatut kognitiiviset kuormitustekij\u00e4t ja tehostaa ty\u00f6n toimintaa ja sujuvuutta ehk\u00e4isem\u00e4ll\u00e4 kuormitustekij\u00f6iden aiheuttamaa \nylim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ist\u00e4 kuormitusta. \n\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, onko itsens\u00e4 johtamisen \ntaidoilla vaikutusta kognitiiviseen ty\u00f6kuormitukseen. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkimuksessa \ntarkasteltiin, mink\u00e4laisia vaikutuksia et\u00e4ty\u00f6ll\u00e4 on itsens\u00e4 johtamisen eri osa-\nalueisiin. Tutkimus kohdistettiin talous- ja palkkahallinnon palveluja tuottavan \nyrityksen asiantuntijoihin. \n\nTutkielma koostuu teoriaosuudesta sek\u00e4 haastattelu- ja kyselytutkimuksien tuloksista ja niiden analysoinnista. Teoriaosuudessa esiteltiin itsens\u00e4 johtamisen ja kognitiivisen ergonomian sek\u00e4 kuormituksen teorioita ja m\u00e4\u00e4ritelmi\u00e4. \nTutkielmassa k\u00e4ytiin l\u00e4pi my\u00f6s motivaatioteorioita. Tutkimuksessa toteutettiin \nkyselytutkimus yrityksen ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ille itsens\u00e4 johtamisen taidoista ja niiden \nvaikutuksesta kognitiiviseen kuormitukseen. Haastattelututkimus kohdistettiin \nyrityksen esihenkil\u00f6ihin. He arvioivat alaistensa taitoja itsens\u00e4 johtamiseen ja \nkognitiivisiin kuormitustekij\u00f6ihin. Tutkimustulosten perusteella voitiin todeta, \nett\u00e4 itsens\u00e4 johtamisen taitoja hyv\u00e4ksik\u00e4ytt\u00e4en kognitiivinen kuormitus v\u00e4henee. Tutkimuksen tulos vastaa aikaisempien tutkimuksien tuloksia. In a digital working life, self-\nleadership skills are emphasized. The work increasingly requires an independent approach, especially for those working at the expert level. The cognitive \nrequirements of work tasks are related to the processing of information, its interpretation, memory, and problemsolving skills. Cognitive ergonomics aims \nto consider the cognitive stressors encountered at work and to enhance the performance and smoothness of work by preventing the extra load caused by the \nstressors. \n\nThe purpose of this study was to determine whether self-leadership skills \ninfluence cognitive workload. In addition, the study looked at the effects of tel-\neworking on different aspects of self-leadership. The study focused on the ex-\nperts providing financial and payroll administration services. \n\nThe dissertation consists of a theoretical part and the results of interview \nand survey research and their analysis. The theoretical part introduced theories \nand definitions of self-leadership and cognitive ergonomics as well as cognitive \nload. Motivation theories were also reviewed in the dissertation. The study \nconducted a survey of company employees on self-leadership skills and their \nimpact on cognitive load. The interview survey was aimed at the company's \nforemen. They assess their subordinates\u2019 skills in self-leadership and cognitive \nstressors. Based on the results of the study, it could be concluded that by utilizing self-leadership skills, the cognitive load is reduced. The result of the study \ncorresponds to the results of previous studies.
