Lis\u00e4ksi \ntarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, ilmeneek\u00f6 koetussa liikunnallisessa p\u00e4tevyydess\u00e4 ja \nliikuntamotivaatiossa eroja sukupuolen, toimintakyvyn haasteen, sairauden tai vamman, \nsosioekonomisen aseman tai liikunta-aktiivisuuden suhteen.\nTutkimuksen aineistona oli Lasten ja nuorten liikuntak\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytyminen Suomessa (LIITU) -\ntutkimuksen osa-aineisto. Osa-aineistossa olivat ne viidesluokkalaiset, jotka vastasivat heill\u00e4 \nolevan jokin l\u00e4\u00e4k\u00e4rin toteama pitk\u00e4aikaissairaus, vamma tai toimintarajoite (n=442).\nTutkittavilla saattoi olla my\u00f6s useampi toimintarajoite. Kommunikoinnin vaikeudet sis\u00e4lsiv\u00e4t \nhaasteita kuulemisessa ja ymm\u00e4rretyksi tulemisessa. Kognitiiviset vaikeudet sis\u00e4lsiv\u00e4t \noppimisen, muistamisen ja keskittymisen haasteita. Sosiaalisen alueen vaikeuksiin kuuluivat \noman k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen kontrolloinnin, yst\u00e4vien saamisen sek\u00e4 omien rutiinien muutosten \nhyv\u00e4ksymisen haasteet. Muita toimintarajoitteita olivat n\u00e4kemisen, k\u00e4velemisen sek\u00e4 itsest\u00e4 \nhuolehtimisen haasteet. Aineistoa analysoitiin IBM SPSS Statistics 26 -ohjelmaa k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en.\nAineiston kuvailemiseen k\u00e4ytettiin jakaumien prosenttiosuuksia (%), ristiintaulukointia ja \nBoxplot-kuvioita. Summamuuttujien v\u00e4itt\u00e4mien luotettavuutta tarkasteltiin Cronbachin alfa -\narvolla. Analyysimenetelmin\u00e4 olivat Mann Whitney`n U-testi, Kruskal Wallisin testi,\nBonferroni korjatut arvot sek\u00e4 Kendall\u2019s tau b korrelaatiokerroin. \nTulosten mukaan sosiaalisen alueen vaikeuksiin kuuluva muutosten hyv\u00e4ksyminen omiin \nrutiineihin oli yleisin lasten toimintarajoitteita aiheuttava tekij\u00e4. Poikien koettu liikunnallinen \np\u00e4tevyys oli korkeampi kuin tytt\u00f6jen. Liikuntamotivaatio oli tyt\u00f6ill\u00e4 poikia korkeampi. Koetun \nliikunnallisen p\u00e4tevyyden ja liikuntamotivaation havaittiin olevan yhteydess\u00e4 toisiinsa ja \nliikunnallisesti itsens\u00e4 p\u00e4teviksi kokevat aikoivat liikkua my\u00f6s tulevaisuudessa. Liikunta aktiivisuuden osalta ilmeni, ett\u00e4 koettu liikunnallinen p\u00e4tevyys ja liikuntamotivaatio olivat sit\u00e4 \nkorkeampia, mit\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n oli liikuttu. Sosioekonominen asema ei vaikuttanut merkitsev\u00e4sti \nkoettuun liikunnalliseen p\u00e4tevyyteen ja liikuntamotivaatioon.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The purpose of this study was to determine the physical activity behavior of children and \nadolescents in Finland based on the LIITU-2018 data on perceived physical competence and \nmotivation of 5th-graders who experience operational constraints and their association. \nFurthermore, the purpose is to determine whether differences in physical competence and \nexercise motivation tested show in terms of gender, functional challenge, illness or disability, \nsocioeconomic status, or exercise activity.\nThe sub data from LIITU-2018 included fifth graders who responded that they had any long term illness, disability or constraint identified by their doctor (n=442). The subjects may also \nhave had several operational constraints. Difficulties in communicating included challenges in \nhearing and becoming understood. Cognitive difficulties included challenges of learning, \nremembering, and focusing. Difficulty in the social area included the challenges of controlling \nyour own behavior, making friends, as well as accepting changes in your own routines. Other \nconstraints included the challenges of seeing, walking, and caring for yourself. The data was \nanalyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Percentages of distributions (%), cross-tabulation and \nBoxplot patterns were used to describe the data. The reliability of claims by sum variables was \nconsidered by Cronbach's alpha value. Methods of analysis included Mann Whitney's U test, \nKruskal Wallis test, Bonferroni corrected values, and Kendall's tau b correlation coefficient. \nAccording to the findings, adopting changes to their own routines, which are part of difficulties \nin the social area, was the most common factor causing child constraints. The perceived \nphysical competence of boys was higher than that of girls, but motivation for exercise was the \nopposite. The perceived physical competence and exercise motivation were associated with \neach other and those who felt competent enough to exercise by themselves intended to move in \nthe future as well. In terms of exercise activity, it appeared that the perceived physical \ncompetence and exercise motivation were higher the more children exercised.
