Jakamistaloudella tarkoitetaan uudenlaista kuluttamisen ja liiketoiminnan mallia, jossa ihmiset lainaavat, jakavat ja kuluttavat toistensa vajaak\u00e4yt\u00f6ll\u00e4 olevia resursseja kuten fyysisi\u00e4 hy\u00f6dykkeit\u00e4 tai palveluja. Jakamistaloudessa lainattavan hy\u00f6dykkeen omistajuus ei vaihdu, vaan lainaaja saa tarvitsemaansa hy\u00f6dykkeeseen v\u00e4liaikaisen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6oikeuden. Jakamistalous hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 yhteis\u00f6- ja verkkoalustoja, joiden avulla pystyt\u00e4\u00e4n v\u00e4litt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n reaaliaikaista tietoa lainattavien hy\u00f6dykkeiden varaustilanteesta. Syit\u00e4, miksi yksil\u00f6t eiv\u00e4t osallistu jakamistalouden majoitustoimintaan tutkitaan UTAUT2-mallin avulla. UTAUT2 tulee sanoista Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology ja se on laajennettu malli alkuper\u00e4isest\u00e4 UTAUT-mallista. UTAUT2 \u2013malli tutkii uuden teknologian hyv\u00e4ksynt\u00e4\u00e4 ja k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 yksitt\u00e4isen kuluttajan n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. UTAUT2-malli koostuu seitsem\u00e4st\u00e4 tekij\u00e4st\u00e4, jotka vaikuttavat siihen, kuinka yksil\u00f6 hyv\u00e4ksyy ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 uutta teknologiaa. N\u00e4m\u00e4 tekij\u00e4t ovat suorituskykyodotukset, vaivann\u00e4k\u00f6odotukset, sosiaalinen vaikutus, mahdollistavat olosuhteet, hedoninen motivaatio, hinta sek\u00e4 tavat ja tottumukset. Lis\u00e4ksi yksil\u00f6n ik\u00e4, sukupuoli ja aiempi kokemus teknologian k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 vaikuttavat siihen, kuinka yksil\u00f6 hyv\u00e4ksyy ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 uutta teknologiaa. Aikaisempi tutkimus aiheesta on keskittynyt selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n, mitk\u00e4 tekij\u00e4t motivoivat yksil\u00f6\u00e4 osallistumaan jakamistalouden toimintaan, joten t\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus l\u00e4hestyy aihetta uudesta n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta luoden merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 tietoa syist\u00e4 olla osallistumatta jakamistalouden majoitustoimintaan. Jakamistalouden palveluiden ja alustojen kehitt\u00e4j\u00e4t voivat hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tuloksia eliminoidakseen osallistumista rajoittavat tekij\u00e4t. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus toteutettiin kirjallisuuskatsauksena sek\u00e4 empiirisen\u00e4 haastattelututkimuksena. Aluksi tutkimukseen koostettiin kirjallisuuskatsauksen avulla teoriapohja, jonka j\u00e4lkeen toteutettiin laadullisen tutkimuksen teemahaastattelut. Haastateltaviksi valikoituivat henkil\u00f6t, jotka eiv\u00e4t olleet k\u00e4ytt\u00e4neet jakamistalouden majoituspalveluita ja jotka olivat haastatteluhetkell\u00e4 i\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4n 40\u201360-vuotiaita. A sharing economy refers to a new type of consumption and business model in which people borrow, share, and consume each other\u2019s underutilized resources such as physical goods or services. In a sharing economy, the ownership of the borrowed asset does not change, but the borrower receives a temporary disposition to use the asset. The sharing economy utilizes community platforms that provide real time information on the reserve status of borrowed assets. The reasons why individuals do not participate in the sharing economy accommodation services are examined by using the UTAUT2-model. UTAUT2 is an abbreviation of the words Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, and it is an extended model of the original UTAUT model. UTAUT2 model examines the acceptance and use of new technology from the perspective of the individual consumer. UTAUT2 model consists of seven factors that influence how an individual accepts and uses new technology. These factors are called performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, price value and habit. In addition, an individual's age, gender, and previous experience of using technology affect how an individual accepts and uses new technology. Previous research has focused on clarifying what factors motivate an individual to participate in a sharing economy. This study approaches the topic from a new perspective, creating significant information about the reasons for non-participation in the sharing economy. Developers of sharing economy services and platforms can utilize the results of this study to eliminate barriers to participation. This research was executed as a literature review as well as an empirical interview study. Initially, a theoretical basis was compiled using a literature review, followed by theme interviews of qualitative research. Individuals who had not used the accommodation services of the sharing economy and who were aged 40 \u2013 60 at the time of the interview were selected for interview. The results of the study formed four categories that explain why individuals do not participate in the accommodation services of the sharing economy.
