Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli aluksi selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, miten oppilaat kuvailevat yleisesti j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4misen tunnetta. T\u00e4m\u00e4n lis\u00e4ksi tutkielmassa tutkittiin, millaiset asiat ja tilanteet mahdollisesti aiheuttavat j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4misen tunteita oppilailla liikuntatunneilla, ja miten j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4mist\u00e4 voisi v\u00e4hent\u00e4\u00e4 liikuntatuntien aikana. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkielma syvent\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 tietoa tunteiden merkityksest\u00e4 oppilaan kokemukseen liikuntatunneilla j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4misen tunteen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Tutkielma toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena, jonka l\u00e4hestymistapana toimi fenomenologis-hermeneuttinen viitekehys. Tutkielmaan osallistui yhteens\u00e4 31 oppilasta yhdest\u00e4 it\u00e4suomalaisesta koulusta. Tutkielman aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin paperisella kyselylomakkeella kahdesta eri liikuntaryhm\u00e4st\u00e4. Ker\u00e4tty aineisto analysoitiin aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6isell\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysill\u00e4. Tulosten perusteella noin kolmasosa vastaajista koki j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4v\u00e4ns\u00e4 liikuntatunneilla. Oppilaat kuvailivat vastauksissaan j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4misen tunnetta fysiologisten muutosten, tilannesidonnaisuuden ja kokemuksen erilaisuuden n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmista. Sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysiss\u00e4 muodostuneen luokittelun mukaan asioita ja tilanteita, \njotka aiheuttivat oppilaille j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4misen tunteita liikuntatunneilla, olivat ep\u00e4onnistuminen, luokkatoverit ja oma keho. Oppilaat kuvailivat vastauksissaan my\u00f6s erilaisia keinoja, joiden avulla j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4mist\u00e4 voisi v\u00e4hent\u00e4\u00e4 liikuntatunneilla. Aineistosta muodostui kolme p\u00e4\u00e4luokkaa, jotka olivat ilmapiirin kehitt\u00e4minen liikuntatunnilla, vaikuttamisen mahdollisuudet tunnilla ja yksil\u00f6n omat keinot. Kolmen p\u00e4\u00e4luokan lis\u00e4ksi aineistosta muodostui yksi muut -luokka. Tutkielman aineistosta nousi esille my\u00f6s ei-j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4jien kokemuksia. Oppilaat kuvailivat vastauksissaan syit\u00e4 sille, miksi he eiv\u00e4t kokeneet j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4v\u00e4ns\u00e4 liikuntatunneilla. Aineiston analyysiss\u00e4 muodostuneet p\u00e4\u00e4luokat olivat tutut liikuntatunnit ja luokkalaiset, liikunnasta nauttiminen sek\u00e4 yksil\u00f6 ja j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4minen. Tutkielman tulokset vahvistavat etenkin oppilaan p\u00e4tevyyden ja autonomian kokemusten, luokkatovereiden sek\u00e4 turvallisen ilmapiirin merkityst\u00e4 oppilaan j\u00e4nnitt\u00e4misen kokemuksiin liikuntatunneilla. Tutkielman tulokset tuovat esille my\u00f6s kehollisuuteen liittyv\u00e4t ilmi\u00f6t, ja oppilaan my\u00f6nteisen kehonkuvan tukemisen t\u00e4rkeyden liikunnanopetuksessa. Kiinnitt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 liikunnanopetuksen suunnittelussa ja toteutuksessa huomiota tutkielmassa ilmenneisiin sis\u00e4lt\u00f6ihin, on mahdollista tukea oppilaan my\u00f6nteisten liikuntakokemusten muodostumista liikuntatunneilla.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The aim of this master\u00b4s thesis was to investigate 9th grade students\u00b4 thoughts and experiences about suspense during physical education lessons. First, the purpose of this study was to find out how students generally portray the feeling of suspense. Second, the aim of this thesis was to investigate what kind of situations and things students find causing the feeling of suspense during physical education classes and how to decrease the feeling of suspense during physical education class. This thesis will broaden the knowledge about the meaning of feelings in students\u00b4 experience during physical education class from the aspect of suspense. \nThis research was carried out by using qualitative methods with a hermeneutic phenomenological framework. The data was collected using a paper questionnaire. 31 students answered the questionnaire from a school in Eastern Finland. The data was collected from two physical education groups. Collected data was analyzed using a data-driven qualitative content analysis. According to the results about one third of the students experienced suspense during physical education class. Students described the feeling of suspense from the aspects of physiological changes, situational factors, and individual experiences. According to the analysis three upper categories were formed which described the things and situations that students found causing suspense during class. These were failure, classmates, and the body of the individual. Students also portrayed ways to decrease the feeling of suspense during class. Three upper categories were formed during the analysis. These were: developing the class climate, opportunities for autonomy and individual\u00b4s ways to reduce suspense. In addition to these three upper categories, a category for the rest that did not fit the categories above was formed from the data. The data showed also experiences of students who didn\u00b4t feel suspense during physical education class. In the answers some students explained reasons to why they did not feel suspense. During the analysis three upper categories were formed which \nwere, familiar physical education classes and classmates, enjoying sports, individual and suspense. Results of this thesis confirm especially the influence of competence, autonomy, classmates, and the safe classroom climate on students\u00b4 experience of suspense during physical education classes. Results also emphasize the \nmeaning of embodiment during class and the importance of supporting students positive body image during physical education class.
