This study explores three public cloud platforms from the perspective of data collection from IoT devices. The cloud platforms are Amazon's AWS, Microsoft's Azure and Google's Cloud Platform. The study also compares the adoptability of the cloud platforms and the tools they offer. None of the platforms is unequivocally better than the others, but their strengths vary between their tools.
