Tässä työssä lasketut voimakkuusfunktiot olivat lähes vastaavat aikaisemman tutkimuksen tulosten kanssa, mutta kaikkien tilojen keskimääräiset energiat olivat hieman pienemmät kuin aikaisemmassa tutkimuksessa oli saatu. Tämä aiheutui suureksi osin siitä, että tässä tutkimuksessa saatiin viritystiloille voimakkuutta myös alle 10 MeV:n energioilla, joita ei juurikaan havaittu aikaisemmassa tutkimuksessa. Tutkielmassa verrattiin myös RPA- ja QRPA-menetelmillä saatuja alimpia energiatiloja kokeellisesti määritettyihin energiatiloihin. Huomattiin, että negatiivisen pariteetin tiloille lasketut energiat poikkesivat kokeellisista energioista huomattavasti enemmän kuin positiivisen pariteetin tiloille lasketuissa. QRPA-menetelmällä lasketut alimmat viritystilojen energiat olivat huomattavasti lähempänä kokeellisesti määritettyjä energiatiloja kuin RPA-menetelmällä lasketut energiat. In this thesis the isovector spin-multipole excitations in Zirconium-90 nucleus were examined. The excitation strengths for SIM, L=1 and L=2 states were observed as a function of energy. These excitation strengths were calculated by using RPA and QRPA methods. Results computed with RPA method were compared with corresponding results from the earlier research. The computed strength functions were almost the same as in the earlier research but calculated average energies were slightly smaller for all states. This was mostly due to the fact that strength for less than 10 MeV was found in this thesis. This was not observed in the earlier research. The lowest energy states calculated with the RPA and QRPA methods were also compared with experimentally observed lowest energy states. It was found out, that the calculated theoretical negative parity energy states differ considerably more from the experimental energies than the calculated positive parity states. Theoretical energies calculated with the QRPA method were much closer to the experimentally observed energy states than energies calculated with RPA method.
