Lis\u00e4ksi selvitettiin, onko sukupuoli yhteydess\u00e4 oppijamin\u00e4kuvien sek\u00e4 suoritusstrategioiden muutokseen ensimm\u00e4iselt\u00e4 kolmannelle luokalle. Tutkimuksen aineisto on osa Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston FLARE-hanketta. T\u00e4h\u00e4n tutkimukseen osallistui 190 oppilasta Keski-Suomesta. Aineisto on ker\u00e4tty kolmelta eri mittauspisteelt\u00e4 jokaisen vuosiluokan kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4. Aineisto analysoitiin Spearmanin korrelaatiokertoimen sek\u00e4 toistettujen mittausten varianssi-analyysin avulla. \nTeht\u00e4v\u00e4suuntautuneen strategian ja matematiikan oppijamin\u00e4kuvan v\u00e4lill\u00e4 l\u00f6ytyi yhteys kaikilla luokka-asteilla. Teht\u00e4v\u00e4suuntautunut strategia oli positiivisesti yhteydess\u00e4 my\u00f6s lukemisen oppijamin\u00e4kuvaan ensimm\u00e4isell\u00e4 ja kolmannella luokalla. Teht\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 v\u00e4lttelev\u00e4 strategia oli negatiivisesti yhteydess\u00e4 matematiikan oppijamin\u00e4kuvaan toisella ja kolmannella luokalla. Matematiikan oppijamin\u00e4kuva heikkeni merkitsev\u00e4sti sek\u00e4 ensimm\u00e4isen ja kol-mannen luokan ett\u00e4 toisen ja kolmannen luokan v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Lukemisen oppija-min\u00e4kuva heikkeni ensimm\u00e4isen ja kolmannen luokan v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Ainoastaan matematiikan oppijamin\u00e4kuvassa sukupuolella oli merkityst\u00e4. Poikien matematiikan oppijamin\u00e4kuva oli tytt\u00f6jen oppijamin\u00e4kuvaa parempi jokaisella luokka-asteella. Tarkasteltaessa suoritusstrategioiden k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4 voi todeta, ett\u00e4 molempien suoritusstrategioiden k\u00e4ytt\u00f6 v\u00e4henee ensimm\u00e4isen ja kolmannen luokan v\u00e4lill\u00e4.\nTulokset oppijamin\u00e4kuvien ja suoritusstrategioiden yhteyksist\u00e4 toivat uutta tietoa v\u00e4h\u00e4n tutkitusta asiasta. Kouluissa olisi t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 tukea oppilaita niin, ett\u00e4 he eiv\u00e4t k\u00e4ytt\u00e4isi v\u00e4lttelev\u00e4\u00e4 suoritusstrategiaa, joka voi olla yhteydess\u00e4 huonoon oppijamin\u00e4kuvaan.
