SaaS-tuotteiden myyntiä ja myynnin malleja on tutkittu vielä kohtalaisen vähän ja tunnetut tutkimuksetkin ovat valmistuneet jo kymmenen vuotta sitten. Tutkielmasta selviää, että jokaisen SaaS-palveluntarjoajan pitää tuntea tarkasti tuotteensa, markkinansa sekä potentiaaliset asiakkaat, jotta se voi valita oikean tai oikeat myynnin mallit. Tämän tutkielman tulosten valossa voidaan todeta, että SaaS-myyntiin löytyy malleja, joiden pohjalta SaaS-palveluntarjoajat voivat rakentaa itselleen toimivimman myynnin mallin. The thesis deals with the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business and becomes acquainted with the studied SaaS sales models. SaaS products and the SaaS business model is a relatively new market that is seen as a truly potential growth market because of its business model. The SaaS market is growing rapidly, and new service providers are constantly being added. Sales and sales models of SaaS products have been relatively little studied, and well-known studies have been completed ten years ago. The thesis shows that every SaaS provider needs to know their products, market and potential customers accurately in order to choose the right sales model or models. In the light of the results of this thesis, it can be stated that there are models for SaaS sales, on the basis of which SaaS service providers can build the most efficient sales model for themselves.
