Erityishuomio tutkimuksessa on teknologian hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4misess\u00e4 perehdytyksess\u00e4. Tutkimuskohteena on kev\u00e4\u00e4n 2021 aikana Prisma Keljossa k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6notettu uusi perehdytt\u00e4misen malli ja Workplace by Facebook-sovellus. Tutkimuksessa haastateltiin verkkokyselylomakkeen avulla Prisma Keljon henkil\u00f6st\u00f6\u00e4 vanhasta ja uudesta mallista siit\u00e4, miten he kokevat perehdytyksen kohdeorganisaatiossa ja arvioida k\u00e4ytettyj\u00e4 menetelmi\u00e4 teknologian n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. \nTutkielman teoriaosuus k\u00e4sittelee perehdytt\u00e4mist\u00e4, henkil\u00f6st\u00f6njohtamista, osaamisen kehitt\u00e4mist\u00e4 ja oppimista sek\u00e4 teknologian ja pelillist\u00e4misen hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4mist\u00e4. Perehdytt\u00e4misen kokonaisuutta on vaikea tarkastella tutustumatta, siihen miten se liittyy laajempiin konteksteihin ja toimintoihin organisaatioissa. Teoriaosuuden avulla tutkimukselle luodaan viitekehys ja saavutettuja tuloksia tarkastellaan my\u00f6s taustakirjallisuuden pohjalta. L\u00e4hdekirjallisuuden perusteella organisaatiot hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4v\u00e4t viel\u00e4 varsin v\u00e4h\u00e4n teknologiaa ja pelillist\u00e4mist\u00e4 perehdytt\u00e4misess\u00e4, vaikka niit\u00e4 hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 on tunnistettu p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4v\u00e4n parempiin tuloksiin. \nTutkielman tuloksissa selvisi ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden kehitt\u00e4v\u00e4n vanhassa perehdytt\u00e4misen mallissa ajank\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4, perehdytyspolkua ja perehdytt\u00e4misen laajuutta. Vertailevat tulokset osoittavat, ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t pit\u00e4v\u00e4t uutta perehdytt\u00e4misen mallia parempana ja riitt\u00e4v\u00e4mp\u00e4n\u00e4 kuin vanhaa mallia. Lis\u00e4ksi teknologian koettiin tukevan perehdytt\u00e4mist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 tehden siit\u00e4 selke\u00e4mm\u00e4n ja monipuolisemman. Teknologisella perehdytt\u00e4misell\u00e4 ei voida kuitenkaan kokonaan korvata henkil\u00f6kohtaista perehdytt\u00e4mist\u00e4. Teknologisella perehdytt\u00e4misell\u00e4 on vaikutusta my\u00f6s ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden sosialisoinnissa, joten digitaalinen alusta toimii my\u00f6s siihen v\u00e4lineen\u00e4. Yhteenvetona on, ett\u00e4 perehdytt\u00e4mist\u00e4 voidaan kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 ja tehostaa teknologian ja pelillist\u00e4misen hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4misell\u00e4. K\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6notossa tulisi kuitenkin huomioida k\u00e4ytt\u00e4jien eri valmiudet teknologian k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n sek\u00e4 eri oppimisen mallit. Special attention in this research is in the utilization of technology in orientation. The research topic is a new orientation model and Workplace by Facebook application introduced in Prisma Keljo during the spring of 2021. The research study used an online questionnaire to interview Prisma Keljos\u2019s staff about the old and new orientation model of how they experience orientation in the target organization and to evaluate the methods used from technology perspective. \nThe theoretical part of the dissertation deals with orientation, human re-source management, competence development and learning, as well as the utilization of technology and gamification. It is difficult to look at the whole of orientation without looking at how it relates to broader contexts and functions in organizations. With the help of the theoretical part, a frame of reference is created for the research and the achieved results are also examined based on the background literature. Based on the source literature, organizations still make very little use of technology and gamification in orientation, although it has been identified that they can lead to better results. \nThe results of the dissertation revealed that in the old model of orientation, employees develop the use of time, the path of orientation and the scope of orientation. The comparative results show that the employees consider the new model of orientation to be better and more adequate than the old model. In addition, the technology was felt to support orientation and make it clearer and more versatile. However, technological orientation cannot completely re-place personal orientation. Technological orientation also influences the socialization of employees, so the digital platform also serves as a tool for this. In summary, orientation can be developed and enhanced using technology and gamification. However, the implementation should consider the difference in capabilities of users to use the technology as well as different learning models.
