Toteutin tutkielman ker\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 kehollisen oppimisen tutkimusmateriaalia ja loin niist\u00e4 sovelluksia yl\u00e4koulun terveystiedon tunneille. Tutkimusten ja l\u00e4hdemateriaalin perusteella kehollisella oppimisella on yhteyksi\u00e4 jo aikaisemmin kehiteltyihin oppimisen teorioihin, kuten Kolbin kokemukselliselle oppimiselle, Deweyn kasvatusfilosofialle ja Piagen kasvatusajattelulle. T\u00e4h\u00e4n tutkielmaan valittujen tutkimusten ja muun l\u00e4hdemateriaalin perusteella kehollinen oppiminen on jaettavissa kolmeen eri kategoriaan: kehotietoisuuteen, keholliseen tietoon sek\u00e4 liikunnan ja oppimisen v\u00e4liseen yhteyteen. \n\nTutkielmani k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6n osuudessa sovelsin kehollisen oppimisen l\u00e4hdekirjallisuutta luodakseni viisi erilaista kehollista oppimista hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 tuntisovellusta yl\u00e4koulun terveystiedon tunneille. Tuntisovellukset ovat lis\u00e4ksi linkitettyin\u00e4 nykyisen opetussuunnitelman perusteiden (2014) terveystieto oppiaineen tavoitteisiin. Kaikki tunnit sovelsivat ainakin yht\u00e4 kehollisen oppimisen osa-aluetta. Tuntisovellukset sis\u00e4lt\u00e4v\u00e4t niin erillist\u00e4 liikett\u00e4, kuin my\u00f6s tunnin aiheisiin integroitua liikett\u00e4. L\u00e4hdekirjallisuuden perusteella pelkk\u00e4 liike voi olla oppimista edist\u00e4v\u00e4 tekij\u00e4, mutta oppimista edesauttaa viel\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n se, jos liike on jollain tavalla integroituneena tunnin oppimistavoitteiden kanssa. N\u00e4iden tuntisovellusten tarkoituksena oli tarjota esimerkkej\u00e4 ja jatkosovellusmahdollisuuksia opettajaksi opiskeleville ja opettajille istumista v\u00e4hent\u00e4vien tuntisuunnitelmien luomisen tueksi. I conducted my study by searching and reviewing studies about embodied learning. According to source material the pedagogical roots of embodied learning originate from Kolbs experimental learning, from Deweys philosophy of education and from Piages thoughts regarding education. Embodied learning can be divided into three main categories: body awareness, embodied cognition and the link between exercise and learning. \nThe second part of this thesis focused on understanding the theory part of this thesis and then developing five different real-life classroom examples of embodied learning. Every example uses at least one of the three main categories of embodied learning. Movement as embodied learning is utilized in the forms of non integrated movement and integrated movement. Research suggests that non integrated movement could be beneficial when it comes to learning outcomes but when the movements are integrated to the learning subject the learning outcomes could be even greater. The purpose of these applications of embodied learning in a classroom setting was to provide examples to teachers and teacher student so they could use this information in their own work or studies. The purpose of this whole thesis as a whole was to provide information and understanding about the theory of embodied learning and its application to help other students, teachers or researcher in the future.
