Kyselytutkimukseen osallistuneet asiantuntijat (n=380) olivat keski-i\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4n 43-vuotiaita ja heist\u00e4 59 prosenttia oli naisia. Hierarkkisten logististen regressioanalyysien tulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6n intensifikaation osa-alueista ty\u00f6tahdin kiristyminen sek\u00e4 lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyneet urasuunnitteluun ja sit\u00e4 koskevaan p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksentekoon liittyv\u00e4t vaatimukset olivat yhteydess\u00e4 asiantuntijoiden johtoteht\u00e4viin siirtymiseen. Tutkimuksemme mukaan n\u00e4ytt\u00e4isi siis silt\u00e4, ett\u00e4 mit\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n ty\u00f6tahdin kiristymist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyneit\u00e4 urasuunnitteluun ja sit\u00e4 koskevaan p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksentekoon liittyvi\u00e4 vaatimuksia asiantuntijat kokivat tutkimuksen l\u00e4ht\u00f6tilanteessa, sit\u00e4 todenn\u00e4k\u00f6isemmin he siirtyv\u00e4t johto- teht\u00e4viin seurantatutkimuksen aikana. Sen sijaan johtoteht\u00e4viin liittyv\u00e4t huolenaiheet, organisaation johtamisen tuki ja ty\u00f6n intensifikaation kaksi muuta osa-aluetta eiv\u00e4t selitt\u00e4neet asiantuntijoiden johtoteht\u00e4viin siirtymist\u00e4. Ty\u00f6n intensifikaation osalta tutkimuksemme esitt\u00e4\u00e4 aiemman tutkimuksen lailla sen eri osa-alueiden omaavan ristiriitaisista vaikutuksista ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ihin.
