Lis\u00e4ksi olimme kiinnostuneita siit\u00e4, mill\u00e4 tavalla sosiaalisuuden tarve ilmeni liikuntatuntien h\u00e4iri\u00f6k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisess\u00e4 erityisesti korona-aikana. Toteutimme tutkimuksen laadullisella tutkimusmenetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4. Tutkimuksemme tieteenfilosofinen tausta oli fenomenologis-hermeneuttinen. Tutkimusaineisto hankittiin puolistrukturoiduilla teemahaastatteluilla Zoom-sovelluksessa viidelt\u00e4 liikunnanopettajalta. Haastateltavien ty\u00f6kokemus vaihteli 6 vuodesta 20 vuoteen. Kaikki liikunnanopettajat olivat miehi\u00e4 ja eri puolilta Suomea isohkoista kouluista. Yl\u00e4koulujen koot vaihtelivat 400\u2013700 oppilaan v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Haastattelut kestiv\u00e4t 34\u201349 minuuttia. Litteroitua aineistoa tuli yhteens\u00e4 39 sivua. Fonttina oli Calibri koko 11 riviv\u00e4lill\u00e4 yksi. Tulokset muodostuivat analysoimalla litteraatteja teoriaohjaavalla sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysilla.\nTulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 liev\u00e4t ja kohtalaiset h\u00e4iri\u00f6k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen muodot olivat yleisimpi\u00e4, erityisesti puhuminen opettajan puheen p\u00e4\u00e4lle. Muita yleisi\u00e4 h\u00e4iri\u00f6k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen muotoja olivat keskittymisen puute, jaksamattomuus kuunnella ohjeita ja v\u00e4itteleminen. Rajua h\u00e4iri\u00f6k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymist\u00e4 esiintyi harvoin, ja silloin l\u00e4hinn\u00e4 pelien aikana. Et\u00e4opetuksessa h\u00e4iri\u00f6k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytyminen oli l\u00e4hes ainoastaan osallistumattomuutta. H\u00e4iri\u00f6k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ss\u00e4 ja ilmenemismuodoissa ei ollut korona-ajan l\u00e4hiopetuksessa huomattavia muutoksia verrattuna aikaan ennen pandemiaa. Opettajat raportoivat oppilaiden olleen selv\u00e4ss\u00e4 sosiaalisten suhteiden tarpeessa kev\u00e4\u00e4n et\u00e4opetusjakson sek\u00e4 kes\u00e4loman j\u00e4lkeen. Liikunnanopettajat k\u00e4sittiv\u00e4t h\u00e4iri\u00f6k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen p\u00e4\u00e4asiallisiksi syiksi ryhm\u00e4dynamiikkaan, oppilaaseen ja perheeseen liittyv\u00e4t tekij\u00e4t.\nKorona-aika on vaikuttanut kielteisesti monen nuoren el\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n. Opettajat arvelivat monien oppilaiden k\u00e4rsineen etenkin kev\u00e4\u00e4n 2020 et\u00e4opetuksesta. Kaksi opettajaa kuvaili oppilaiden pient\u00e4 v\u00e4symyst\u00e4 tilanteeseen syksyn 2020 mittaan. Siit\u00e4 huolimatta liikunnanopettajat eiv\u00e4t havainneet selv\u00e4\u00e4 ahdistuneisuuden tai pahan olon lis\u00e4\u00e4ntymist\u00e4 syksyn l\u00e4hiopetuksessa. T\u00e4t\u00e4 voi selitt\u00e4\u00e4, ett\u00e4 liikuntatunnit ovat voineet olla oppilaiden kielteisi\u00e4 ajatuksia poistava ja yhteis\u00f6llisi\u00e4 kokemuksia tuova asia, vaikka korona-ajan v\u00e4hentyneet sosiaaliset tilanteet ja rajoitustoimet aiheuttaisivat muulloin pahaa oloa. Jatkotutkimuksen kannalta olisi mielenkiintoista tiet\u00e4\u00e4, mitk\u00e4 tunteet aiheuttavat liikuntatunneilla useimmiten h\u00e4iri\u00f6k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymist\u00e4 opettajan ja oppilaan n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta sek\u00e4 kuinka niit\u00e4 kohdataan. Lis\u00e4ksi olisi mielenkiintoista tutkia lis\u00e4\u00e4 sosiaalisuuden tarpeen yhteytt\u00e4 h\u00e4iri\u00f6k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen liikuntatunneilla. In addition, we were interested in how social needs appeared as misbehaviour during physical education classes especially during the pandemic. The study was carried out with qualitative research methods. The study held a hermeneutic-phenomenological approach as its basis of scientific philosophy. The data was gathered from five physical education teachers with semi-structural thematic interviews. The work experience of interviewees varied from 6 to 20 years. The interviewees were all men and from different parts of Finland. Their upper comprehensive schools were quite large, varying from 400 to 700 pupils. The interviews lasted for 34\u201349 minutes. The amount of transcribed material was in total 39 pages long with Calibri size 11 and line spacing 1. The results were formed by analysing transcribes with theory-directional content analysis.\nThe results showed that mild and moderate misbehaviour were most common, especially talking out of turn. Other common misbehaviours were lack of concentration, not following directions and arguing. Severe misbehaviour was rare, but then during games mainly. During the remote-studying period misbehaviour was mainly nonparticipation. There were no significant changes in misbehaviour in physical education classes during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to the time before. The teachers reported that pupils were in clear need of social relationships after the remote-studying period and summer holiday. The teachers considered the main reasons for misbehaviour to be factors connected to group dynamics, the pupils themselves and their family.\nThe COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative effect on the lives of many adolescents. The teachers believed that many pupils suffered from the remote-studying period in the spring of 2020. Two teachers described a little tiredness due to the pandemic in the autumn of 2020. Nevertheless, the teachers did not observe clear increase of anxiety or bad mood in classes in the autumn of 2020. This might be explained by the physical education classes themselves; they might have removed negative thoughts and produced social experiences, even if reduced social contacts and restrictive measures during the pandemic had caused anxiety. For future research, it would be interesting to know what emotions or feelings in physical education classes mostly cause misbehaviour from a teacher's or a pupil\u2019s perspective and how they are dealt with. In addition, it would be interesting to study more about the relationship between social needs and misbehaviour in physical education classes.
