T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli saada ja tuottaa yh\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n tietoa et\u00e4ty\u00f6st\u00e4 ja n\u00e4in ollen lis\u00e4t\u00e4 sek\u00e4 ty\u00f6nantajien ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden tietoisuutta siit\u00e4, millaisia haasteita muuttuva ja digitalisoituva ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4 sek\u00e4 nopea et\u00e4ty\u00f6h\u00f6n siirtyminen tuo tullessaan. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus pyrki kattavasti ja laaja-alaisesti kartoittamaan eri ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4ryhmien kokemuksia nopeasta et\u00e4ty\u00f6h\u00f6n siirtymisest\u00e4 koronaviruspandemian aikana. Tutkimusaihe oli t\u00e4rke\u00e4 sen ajankohtaisuuden ja vallitsevan maailmantilanteen vuoksi, ja suunnittelematonta sek\u00e4 nopeaa et\u00e4ty\u00f6h\u00f6n siirtymist\u00e4 on tutkittu aikaisemmin verrattain v\u00e4h\u00e4n. Tutkimusta l\u00e4hdettiin toteuttamaan etsim\u00e4ll\u00e4 vastauksia tutkimuskysymykseen, joka oli: millaisia kokemuksia finanssialan eri ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4ryhmill\u00e4 on nopeasta et\u00e4ty\u00f6h\u00f6n siirtymisest\u00e4 koronaviruspandemian aikana? P\u00e4\u00e4tutkimuskysymykselle m\u00e4\u00e4ritettiin kolme alatutkimuskysymyst\u00e4. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena ja tutkimusaineisto koostui 10 teemahaastattelusta, joissa pyrittiin selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n ennalta laadittujen haastattelukysymysten pohjalta, millaisena et\u00e4ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t n\u00e4kiv\u00e4t et\u00e4ty\u00f6h\u00f6n siirtymisen, millaisia etuja ja haasteita et\u00e4ty\u00f6h\u00f6n siirtymisest\u00e4 oli ja millaista osaamista et\u00e4ty\u00f6 vaatii ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6ilt\u00e4. Tutkimuksessa aineistonanalyysimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 hy\u00f6dynnettiin laadulliselle tutkimukselle ominaista teemoittelua, jota voidaan pit\u00e4\u00e4 yhten\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysin muotona. Ennen tutkimuksen empiirist\u00e4 osiota tutkimuksessa tutustuttiin olemassa olevaan tutkimuskentt\u00e4\u00e4n ja kartoitettiin mahdollisia tutkimusaukkoja. Tutkimuksen keskeisimpin\u00e4 tuloksina ja havaintoina et\u00e4ty\u00f6h\u00f6n siirtymist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden kokemuksia ymm\u00e4rret\u00e4\u00e4n paremmin ja tutkimuksessa pystyttiin tunnistamaan et\u00e4ty\u00f6n kannalta t\u00e4rkeimm\u00e4t yksil\u00f6n osaamistarpeet. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen perusteella nopea et\u00e4ty\u00f6h\u00f6n siirtyminen on onnistunut kohtalaisen hyvin aiheuttamatta suurempia ongelmia tai haasteita ty\u00f6nteossa. The research focused on studying the changing working life, the transition to telework, the skills needed in telework, the effects of telework and the benefits and challenges of telework. The aim of this study was to obtain and produce more and more information about telework and thus to raise the awareness of both employers and employees about the challenges the changing and digital working life and the rapid transition to telework. This study aimed to comprehensively and extensively map the experiences of different groups of employees in the rapid transition to telework during a corona-virus pandemic. The research topic was important due to its topicality and the current world situation, and relatively little research has been done in the past on unplanned and rapid transitions to telework. The study started with the search for answers to the research question, which was: what experiences do different groups of employees in the financial sector have about the rapid transition to telework during a coronavirus pandemic? In addition, three sub-research questions were identified for the main research question. The study was carried out as a qualitative study and the research material consisted of 10 thematic interviews, which sought to find out, on the basis of pre-prepared interview questions, what teleworkers saw as switching to telework, what benefits and challenges telecommuting had and what skills telework requires. The study utilized the thematic design characteristic of qualitative research as a material analysis method, which can be considered as a form of content analysis. Prior to the empirical part of the study, the study explored the existing field of research and mapped potential research gaps. The main results and findings of the study are a better understanding of the transition to telework and the experiences of employees, and the study was able to identify the most important competence needs of the individual in terms of telework. Based on this study, the rapid transition to telework has been moderately successful without causing major problems or challenges at work.
