Koulukiusaaminen on suuri uhka lasten ja nuorten \nkehitykselle ja terveydelle lyhyell\u00e4 ja pitk\u00e4ll\u00e4 aikav\u00e4lill\u00e4. Sosiaalisen tuen on tunnistettu olevan \nt\u00e4rke\u00e4 perusta ihmisen hyvinvoinnille ja perhe on yksi lasten ja nuorten merkitt\u00e4vimmist\u00e4 \nsosiaalisen tuen l\u00e4hteist\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, miten perheen \nsosiaalinen tuki on yhteydess\u00e4 lasten ja nuorten koulukiusaamiskokemuksiin. Lis\u00e4ksi\ntutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin sukupuolen, luokkatason ja perheen koetun taloudellisen tilanteen\nyhteytt\u00e4 koulukiusaamiskokemuksiin.\nTutkimuksen aineistona k\u00e4ytettiin Suomessa ker\u00e4tty\u00e4 vuoden 2014 WHO Koululaistutkimuksen osa-aineistoa, jossa oli mukana suomenkielist\u00e4 perusopetusta antavien\nkoulujen 5.-, 7-. ja 9.-luokkalaiset lapset ja nuoret (n=5925). Koulukiusaamista tarkasteltiin\nhuomioiden kiusaajan, kiusatun ja kiusaaja-uhrin roolit. Perheen sosiaalista tukea tarkasteltiin\nperheelt\u00e4 saadun tuen, perheen vuorovaikutusilmapiirin sek\u00e4 \u00e4idin ja is\u00e4n kanssa \nkommunikoinnin n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmista. Aineiston analysoinnissa tilastollisina menetelmin\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin\nristiintaulukointia, khiin neli\u00f6testi\u00e4, yksisuuntaista varianssianalyysia sek\u00e4 bin\u00e4\u00e4rist\u00e4 logistista \nregressioanalyysi\u00e4.\nTulosten mukaan oppilaista 10 prosenttia oli kiusaajia, 17 prosenttia kiusattuja ja 10 prosenttia \nkiusaaja-uhreja. Kiusaajan rooli oli todenn\u00e4k\u00f6isempi pojilla, 7.-luokkalaisilla ja perheen tuen \nheikommaksi kokeneilla oppilailla. Kiusatun roolia ennustivat alempi luokkataso, huonoksi \nkoetut perheen taloudellinen tilanne ja vuorovaikutusilmapiiri sek\u00e4 vaikea kommunikointi is\u00e4n \nkanssa. Kiusaaja-uhrin rooli oli todenn\u00e4k\u00f6isempi pojilla, alemmilla luokkatasoilla sek\u00e4 perheen \ntaloudellisen tilanteen huonoksi sek\u00e4 kommunikoinnin \u00e4idin ja is\u00e4n kanssa vaikeaksi \nkokeneilla.\nTulosten perusteella koulukiusaaminen koskettaa merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 osaa peruskoulun oppilaista.\nHeikko perheen sosiaalinen tuki on yhteydess\u00e4 yleisempiin lasten ja nuorten \nkoulukiusaamiskokemuksiin. Perheen sosiaalisen tuen merkitykseen tulisi kiinnitt\u00e4\u00e4 huomiota \nterveyden edist\u00e4misen ohjelmissa my\u00f6s koulukiusaamisen ehk\u00e4isemiseksi.
