Asiakkaan kiinni pit\u00e4miseksi ja asiakkaan tarpeita ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4v\u00e4n markkinoinnin tekemiseksi halutaan ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4\u00e4 asiakkaan kokemaa arvoa ja arvon kokemisen l\u00e4hteit\u00e4 sek\u00e4 kosketuspisteit\u00e4 asiakkaan elinkaaren aikana. \nT\u00e4ss\u00e4 pro gradussa selvitettiin sit\u00e4, miten er\u00e4\u00e4n kansainv\u00e4lisen ohjelmisto-alan yrityksen tuote ja palvelu toimii ajurina asiakassuhteeseen ja miksi asiakkaat haluavat tai eiv\u00e4t halua sitoutua uusintaoston my\u00f6t\u00e4 yritykseen. Tutkimuksessa hy\u00f6dynnettiin viitekehyksen\u00e4 ohjelmistoteollisuuteen tehty\u00e4 asiakassuhteen ominaisuuksien mallia. Toiseksi tutkittiin, millaista arvoa asiakassuhteessa koetaan ja kolmanneksi sit\u00e4, miten ty\u00f6n muuttujat, eli suhteen koettu arvo, tyytyv\u00e4isyys ja luottamus korreloivat kesken\u00e4\u00e4n ja lopulta vaikuttavat asiakkaan haluun sitoutua asiakassuhteeseen. Sitoutuminen tulkittiin haluksi tehd\u00e4 kauppaa uudelleenkin yrityksen kanssa, eli uusintaa asiakassuhde. \nTutkimus oli kvantitatiivinen. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin verkkokyselyn avulla ja analysoitiin SmartPLS -ohjelmistoa hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en. Tutkimustulosten perusteella havaittiin, ett\u00e4 ohjelmistoon ja yritykseen yleisesti liittyv\u00e4 palvelu vaikutti tuotetta vahvemmin asiakkaan kokemukseen asiakassuhteen arvosta. Palvelu vaikutti my\u00f6s tyytyv\u00e4isyyden tunteisiin. Asiakassuhteen koetun arvon ja sitoutumisen v\u00e4lill\u00e4 ei saavutettu yhteytt\u00e4. Sen sijaan tyytyv\u00e4isyyden tuntemisen ja luottamuksen v\u00e4linen yhteys todistettiin my\u00f6s t\u00e4m\u00e4n ohjelmistoalan asiakkaiden keskuudessa.
