Muuttunut toimintaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6 on lis\u00e4ksi vaikuttanut arvon muodostumiseen ja asiakkaalla on t\u00e4rke\u00e4 rooli arvon m\u00e4\u00e4ritt\u00e4misess\u00e4 sek\u00e4 sen rakentumisessa. T\u00e4m\u00e4 muutos on my\u00f6s n\u00e4ht\u00e4viss\u00e4 rakennusalalla, jossa asiakasl\u00e4ht\u00f6iset palvelut muotoutuvat osaksi perinteisi\u00e4 rakentamisen k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6j\u00e4 ja asiakaskeskeisyytt\u00e4 korostetaan. Rakennusalan yritykset eiv\u00e4t voi en\u00e4\u00e4 kilpailla ainoastaan teknisell\u00e4 laadulla tai toiminnan kustannustehokkuudella. Kuitenkin monien rakennusalan yritysten uudistumiskyky on heikkoa ja monet toimintatavat ovat vakiintuneita, mik\u00e4 vaikeuttaa tuotantol\u00e4ht\u00f6isen yrityksen uudistumista asiakasl\u00e4ht\u00f6iseksi palveluntarjoajaksi.\n\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tavoitteena on luoda ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 arvon yhteisluonnista asuntorakentamisen yrityksess\u00e4 asiakkaan n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta ja tutkia asiakkaan roolia arvon muodostumisessa. Tarkoituksena on ymm\u00e4rt\u00e4\u00e4 syv\u00e4llisesti, mist\u00e4 tekij\u00f6ist\u00e4 ja miten arvon yhteisluominen rakentuu rakennushankkeen aikana. Lis\u00e4ksi tavoitteena on tunnistaa palvelupolun kriittisimm\u00e4t vaiheet arvon yhteisluonnin kannalta. Tutkimus toteutettiin kvalitatiivisena eli laadullisena tutkimuksena, jossa keskityttiin rakennusalalla toimivan yrityksen ja sen asiakkaiden v\u00e4liseen arvon yhteisluontiin. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin teemahaastatteluiden avulla kuudelta case-yrityksen asiakkaalta sek\u00e4 yhdelt\u00e4 yrityksen edustajalta, jotta saataisiin mahdollisimman kattava kuva rakennushankkeesta.\n\nTutkimustuloksissa korostui ajantasaisen, vastavuoroisen ja ymm\u00e4rrett\u00e4v\u00e4n vuorovaikutuksen merkitys arvon rakentumisessa. Vuorovaikutuksella on my\u00f6s suora vaikutus asiakkaan ja yrityksen oppimiseen sek\u00e4 luottamuksen rakentumiseen osapuolten v\u00e4lille. Tulosten perusteella rakennusalan yritykset voivat hy\u00f6ty\u00e4 investoinnista aineettomiin voimavaroihin toiminnan kehitt\u00e4misess\u00e4.
