Lis\u00e4ksi tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, miten tarpeiden tyydyttyminen ja tukahduttaminen erosivat opetusmenetelmien v\u00e4lill\u00e4 sek\u00e4 miten sukupuoli ja ik\u00e4 olivat yhteydess\u00e4 tyydyttymiseen ja tukahduttamiseen. Tutkimuksen kohdejoukko koostui kahden Keski-Suomessa sijaitsevan lukion oppilaista, joista tutkimukseen osallistui yhteens\u00e4 48 henkil\u00f6\u00e4. Aineiston ker\u00e4\u00e4minen tapahtui syksyll\u00e4 2020.\nTutkimukseen osallistuville henkil\u00f6ille pidettiin kaksi liikuntatuntia, joista ensimm\u00e4inen oli nonlineaarisen pedagogiikan mukainen ja toinen perinteisten opetusmenetelmien mukainen. Oppitunnit suunniteltiin nonlineaarisen pedagogiikan ja taidon oppimisen kirjallisuuden pohjalta. Molempien tuntien j\u00e4lkeen oppilaat t\u00e4yttiv\u00e4t kyselylomakkeen psykologisiin perustarpeisiin liittyen. N\u00e4iden perustarpeiden tyydyttymist\u00e4 ja tukahduttamista tutkittiin \u201dPsykologisten perustarpeiden tyydyttyminen ja tukahduttaminen liikuntatunneilla\u201d -mittarilla, jonka Anttila (2020) on suomentanut yhdess\u00e4 asiantuntijaryhm\u00e4n kanssa. K\u00e4ytetty mittari muokattiin t\u00e4t\u00e4 tutkimusta varten yksitt\u00e4ist\u00e4 liikuntatuntia koskevaksi. Mittarin validiteettia ja reliabiliteettia tarkasteltiin eksploratiivisen faktorianalyysin ja Cronbachin alfakertoimen avulla. Kyselylomakkeella ker\u00e4tty\u00e4 tutkimusdataa analysoitiin sek\u00e4 riippu-mattomien otosten ett\u00e4 riippuvien otosten T-testill\u00e4 ja toistettujen mittausten varianssianalyysill\u00e4.\nTulosten mukaan oppilaiden psykologisten perustarpeiden tyydyttyminen oli molempien opetusmenetelmien oppitunneilla keskivertoa korkeampaa ja tarpeiden tukahduttaminen puolestaan molemmilla opetusmenetelmill\u00e4 keskivertoa alhaisempaa. Yli 17-vuotiaiden ik\u00e4luokka koki nonlineaarisen pedagogiikan tunnilla enemm\u00e4n koettua p\u00e4tevyytt\u00e4 kuin alle 17-vuotiaiden ryhm\u00e4, mik\u00e4 oli tutkimuksen ainoa tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4 ero. Tuntien v\u00e4listen erojen tarkastelun perusteella nonlineaarisen pedagogiikan mukaisten ja perinteisten opetusmenetelmien mukaisten tuntien v\u00e4lill\u00e4 ei ollut tilastollisia eroja psykologisten perustarpeiden tyydyttymisess\u00e4 ja tukahduttamisessa. Sukupuolella ja ik\u00e4luokalla ei ollut yhteytt\u00e4 oppilaiden kokemuksiin opetusmenetelmien v\u00e4lisess\u00e4 tarkastelussa.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The aim of this study was to examine the satisfaction and frustration of the basic psychological needs of high school students during PE classes by using nonlinear pedagogy and traditional teaching methods. In addition, the aim was to find out the difference in the needs of satisfaction and frustration between these two teaching methods, and how gender and age are associated in satisfaction and frustration. The target group of this study consisted of students from two high schools located in Central Finland, of which a total of 48 students participated in the study. The data collection took place in autumn 2020.\nParticipants in the study were given two PE classes, the first with a method of nonlinear pedagogy and the second with traditional teaching methods. The lessons were designed based on the nonlinear pedagogy and skill learning literature. After both lessons, students completed a questionnaire regarding basic psychological needs. Satisfaction and frustration of these basic needs were studied by using Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction and Frustration scale questionnaire, which Anttila (2020) had translated into Finnish together with a group of experts. This questionnaire was modified for this study to refer to an individual PE class. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were examined using exploratory factor analysis and the Cronbach\u2019s alpha coefficient. The research data collected by the questionnaire were analyzed by both independent and dependent sample T-test and analysis of variance of repeated measurements.\nThe results showed that the satisfaction of students' basic psychological needs was higher than average in the lessons of both teaching methods, and the frustration of needs in turn was lower than average in both teaching methods. The age group over 17 experienced more perceived competence in the nonlinear pedagogy class than the group under 17, which was the only statistically significant difference in the study. Based on an examination of the differences between lessons, there were no statistical differences in the satisfaction and frustration of basic psychological needs between the two teaching methods.
