Lisäksi pyritään selvittämään käytännön esimerkkien kautta tapoja hyödyntää tai käyttää apuna tätä kyseistä tiedonlouhintamenetelmää kun asiakkaille personoidaan digitaalista markkinointia. This bachelor’s thesis examines how data mining can be utilized in digital marketing and how data mined with the data mining algorithm can be utilized in customer profiling. The thesis explores how market basket analysis based on association rules mining methods manifests itself in the digital marketing customer profiling process and how marketers can utilize it as part of this process. In addition, the aim is to find out, through practical examples, how this particular data mining method can be utilized or used as an aid when personalizing digital marketing to customers.
