T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa pyrittiin selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n, millaisia merkityksi\u00e4 kest\u00e4v\u00e4 ty\u00f6ura saa yksil\u00f6- ja organisaatiotasoilla ja miten kest\u00e4vi\u00e4 ty\u00f6uria johdetaan Suomessa toimivien suurten ja keskisuurten Great Place to Work (GPTW) -sertifikaatin suorittaneiden yhti\u00f6iden henkil\u00f6st\u00f6johtamisen ammattilaisten n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Suomen parhaiden ty\u00f6paikkojen listalle kuuluvilla organisaatioilla voidaan n\u00e4hd\u00e4 olevan aiheen kannalta merkityksellist\u00e4 n\u00e4kemyst\u00e4. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena ja aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin puolistrukturoitujen teemahaastattelujen avulla. Haastatteluihin osallistui yhdeks\u00e4n henkil\u00f6st\u00f6johtamisen ammattilaista valitusta kohderyhm\u00e4st\u00e4. Aineisto analysoitiin teoriaohjaavan sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysin keinoin. Teoreettisena viitekehyksen\u00e4 toimi aiempi kest\u00e4vien ty\u00f6urien teoretisointi ja tutkimus. \n\nTutkimuksen tuloksien teemat mukailevat vahvasti viitekehyst\u00e4. Aineiston perusteella kest\u00e4v\u00e4 ty\u00f6ura edustaa GPTW-yhti\u00f6iden henkil\u00f6st\u00f6ammattilaisten n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta erityisesti yksil\u00f6iden ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4 pysymist\u00e4. Keskeisi\u00e4 tekij\u00f6it\u00e4 kest\u00e4vien ty\u00f6urien kannalta ovat yksil\u00f6iden terveys, monipuolinen osaaminen, ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4n merkityksellisyys ja yksil\u00f6n huomioiminen kokonaisuutena. Lis\u00e4ksi yhteisty\u00f6n ja yhteis\u00f6llisyyden merkitys tunnustetaan. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa todetaan, ett\u00e4 organisaatioiden n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta kest\u00e4v\u00e4t ty\u00f6urat merkitsev\u00e4t taloudellisten, sosiaalisten ja inhimillisten arvojen rinnakkain edist\u00e4mist\u00e4 ja huomioimista toiminnassa, jossa my\u00f6s yksil\u00f6iden sitouttaminen voidaan n\u00e4hd\u00e4 keskeisen\u00e4 tavoitteena.
