Tavoitteena oli kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 Suomen Palloliiton alaista koulutusta ja l\u00f6yt\u00e4\u00e4 niit\u00e4 tekij\u00f6it\u00e4, joita valmentajat kaipaavat koulutukselta. Tutkimuksen aikana maailmaa koetteli COVID-19-pandemia. T\u00e4st\u00e4 johtuen tutkimuksessa oli otollista tarkastella my\u00f6s pandemian aiheuttamien muutosten vaikutuksia koulutuksen j\u00e4rjest\u00e4miseen sek\u00e4 valmentajien oppimiseen. Aineisto koostui vuonna 2020 UEFA C - valmentajakoulutukseen osallistuneista valmentajista (n=60). Koulutukset j\u00e4rjestettiin Etel\u00e4-, Keski- ja Pohjois-Suomen alueella. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin kyselylomakkeilla, jotka t\u00e4ytettiin ennen koulusta sek\u00e4 heti koulutuksen p\u00e4\u00e4tytty\u00e4. Valmentajakoulutuksen kesto oli 4\u20136 kuukautta, koulutusryhm\u00e4st\u00e4 riippuen.\nTutkimuksen teoreettinen viitekehys rakentui H\u00e4m\u00e4l\u00e4isen (2013) suomalaisen valmennusosaamisen mallia hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en, joka on rakennettu C\u00f4t\u00e9n & Gilbertin (2009) tutkimukseen pohjautuen. Teorian pohjalta rakennettiin my\u00f6s tutkimuksen mittaristo, jonka luotettavuutta sek\u00e4 reliabiliteettia arvioitiin pilottitutkimuksella sek\u00e4 tilastollisin menetelmin. Menetelm\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4n tutkimus edustaa kvantitatiivista tutkimusta, jossa on kuitenkin k\u00e4ytetty vahvasti my\u00f6s kvalitatiivisia sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysin menetelmi\u00e4. Tutkimusmenetelmi\u00e4 yhdist\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 voidaan tutkimuksen aihetta tarkastella monipuolisemmin. Tutkimuksena tarkoituksena on luoda mahdollisimman totuudenmukainen kuva valmentajien valmennusosaamisesta sek\u00e4 sen kehittymisest\u00e4 koulutuksen aikana.\nValmentajat kokivat oman valmennusosaamisensa korkeaksi, mink\u00e4 lis\u00e4ksi he arvostivat valmentajataidoissa kaikista eniten vuorovaikutus- ja ihmissuhdetaitoja. Koulutuksella n\u00e4htiin olevan positiivisia vaikutuksia valmentajan kehityksess\u00e4. Valmentajat kokivat koulutuksessa k\u00e4siteltyjen sis\u00e4lt\u00f6jen tarkoituksenmukaisuuden vaihtelevasti. Lis\u00e4ksi COVID-19-pandemia vaikutti valmentajien mielest\u00e4 eniten koulutuksessa k\u00e4ytyyn vuorovaikutukseen muiden valmentajien kanssa. T\u00e4m\u00e4n puuttuminen n\u00e4htiin heikent\u00e4v\u00e4n oppimista. Tulevaisuudessa valmentajakoulutuksissa tulisi kiinnitt\u00e4\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n huomiota yksil\u00f6lliseen koulutuspolkuun sek\u00e4 monipuoliseen verkostoitumiseen.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The purpose of this study was to find out the development of the coaching skills of the coaches who participated in the UEFA C coaching education. The aim was to develop education under the Finnish Football Association and to find the factors that coaches require from education. During the study, the world was plagued by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the study was also looking at the effects of the changes caused by the pandemic on the organization of education and the learning of coaches. The material consists of coaches who participated in UEFA C coach training (n=60) in 2020. The trainings were organized in southern, central and northern Finland. The material was collected with questionnaires, which were filled in before and immediately after the education. The duration of the coaching education was 4\u20136 months, depending on the group.\nThe theoretical framework of the study was built using H\u00e4m\u00e4l\u00e4inen's (2013) model of Finnish coaching skills, which was built based on C\u00f4t\u00e9n & Gilbert's (2009) research. On the basis of the theory, a research metric was also built, the validity and reliability of which were assessed by a pilot study and statistical methods. In terms of method, the research represents a quantitative study, however, qualitative content analysis methods have also been used extensively. By combining research methods, the topic of research can be examined in a more versatile way. The purpose of the research is to create as true a picture as possible of the coaches' coaching skills and their development during the education.\nThe coaches felt that their own coaching skills were high, in addition to which they valued interaction and interpersonal skills the most in their coaching skills. Training was seen to have a positive effect on coaches development. Coaches felt the appropriateness of the content covered in the training varied. In addition, coaches felt that the COVID-19 pandemic had the greatest impact on training interactions with other coaches. The absence of this was seen as impairing learning.
