Tutkimuksen\ntuli hy\u00f6dytt\u00e4\u00e4 liikunnanopettajia ajattelemaan oppimisymp\u00e4rist\u00f6j\u00e4 oppilaan\nn\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Tutkimukseen osallistui kahdeksannelta ja yhdeks\u00e4nnelt\u00e4 luokalta\nyhteens\u00e4 kahdeksan yl\u00e4koululaista, joista nelj\u00e4 oli poikaa ja nelj\u00e4 tytt\u00f6\u00e4.\nTutkimushenkil\u00f6ilt\u00e4 vaadittiin vaihtelevaa peruskoulun liikunnan arvosanaa.\nKyseess\u00e4 oli laadullinen monimenetelm\u00e4tutkimus, joka sis\u00e4lsi sek\u00e4\nkyselylomakkeen ett\u00e4 ryhm\u00e4haastattelun. Aineiston analyysimenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4\nk\u00e4ytettiin teoriaohjaavaa sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysi\u00e4. Tuloksia analysointiin fyysisen,\npsyykkisen ja sosiaalisen ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Tutkimus aloitettiin syksyll\u00e4\n2020.\nTutkimustulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 kahdeksas- ja yhdeks\u00e4sluokkalaisia nuoria\nmotivoi liikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6, jossa on hyv\u00e4 ja suvaitseva ilmapiiri.\nLiikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n tuli sis\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4 erilaisia liikkumisen mahdollisuuksia sek\u00e4 tarjota\nmahdollisuuden rauhoittua. Nuoria motivoi lis\u00e4ksi siisti ja puhdas\nliikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6, jonka tulisi sijaita sek\u00e4 rakennetuissa ett\u00e4 luonnollisissa\nrakentamattomissa ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6iss\u00e4. Etenkin monipuolisuus oli nuorille keskeinen\nliikkumaan motivoiva tekij\u00e4. Tutkimus vahvisti oletusta siit\u00e4, kuinka keskeisess\u00e4\nasemassa ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6 toimii nuorille motivaation luojana.\nTutkielmassa tuli esille nuorten kokevan liikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n laajana\nkokonaisuutena, joka ei muodostu vain fyysisist\u00e4 tekij\u00f6ist\u00e4. Nuoret kaipasivat\nvaihtelua liikuntaymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00f6ns\u00e4, jossa jokaisella olisi mahdollisuus oppia,\nharrastaa sek\u00e4 tulla ryhm\u00e4ss\u00e4 hyv\u00e4ksytyksi. Odotusarvoltaan uusia\nk\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6nl\u00e4heisi\u00e4 ideoita syntyi nuorilta v\u00e4h\u00e4n. Nuoret eiv\u00e4t toisaalta ideoineet\nmit\u00e4\u00e4n perusopetuksen opetussuunnitelman tai perusopetuslain vastaista.\nJohtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksen\u00e4 voi todeta, ett\u00e4 liikunnanopettajan on teoriassa mahdollista\ntoteuttaa kaikki esiin nousseet nuoria liikkumaan motivoivat tekij\u00e4t.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The aim for this Master\u00b4s thesis was to study what kind of environment motivates\nthe young to physical exercise. The research task was to find out what\nenvironmental elements the young experiences important to exercise? The\nresearch should benefit the physical education teachers to understand the\nenvironment as a student point of view. 8 upper comprehensive school students\nfrom eight and ninth grade participated in the research. The student group\nconsisted of 4 boys and 4 girls. The chosen method was qualitative mixed\nmethods research. The research included a questionnaire and a group interview.\nThe approach for the analysis was carried out by theory-guided approach. The\nresults were analysed from physical, psychological and social environment\nstandpoint. The participants had to have varying comprehensive school physical\neducation grade. The research started in autumn 2020.\nThe results showed that the physical education environment motivated the\nstudents from eight and ninth grade, especially when it came to a good and\ntolerant atmosphere, a chance to calm down, a variety of possibilities to exercise\nand located in neat and clean facilities. The students concluded that the physical\neducation environment should be located both in built environments and natural\nunbuilt environments. Especially, versatility was the main factor to motivate\nstudents to physical exercise. The research confirmed that the environment has\nessential role as a motivator for students.\nIn addition, the research pointed out that the students experienced the physical\neducation environment as a wider array of factors, which do not only consist of\nphysical components. The students missed versatility in different physical\nenvironments, where everyone had a chance to learn, exercise and be accepted as\na member of group. Contrary to the hypothesis, only a very few practical ideas\nwere suggested by the students. On the other hand, the students did not generate\nany ideas that cannot be executed by the national core curriculum for basic\neducation or the basic education act.
